Apparently even Guardiola tried to explain to line referee what actually happened, but obviously nobody gave a fuck.

Which leaves only one option: the referee and his team have earned themselves an early Christmas bonus today :p

No, it does not. I've seen it happen even in the World Cup, where someone fell in the penalty area and immediately signalled to the ref that he just fell and there was no foul or anything.

which match ? it does happen ofc , but rarely . i remember Klose did it before with Lazio during a match in Serie A he scored a goal with his hand and it was counted by ref but he told him that he touched the ball with his hand and the goal was deleted

I have no idea which match it was, I just remember being impressed by it and then people saying "oh but that happens every now and then" :p

apparently not only MAN UTD did a come back , but also Hoffenheim scored 2 goals in the last 5 minutes with only 10-men against Lyon in France

Benfica got to 1-0 against Ajax thanks to some massive blundering by goalkeeper André Onana, but in the dying seconds it was Onana saving the draw for Ajax by saving two almost certain Benfica goals :d

  • 3 weeks later...

Lowlife United in Athens, where 'fans' (obviously not real fans, since they know they're getting 'their' team in trouble) of Ajax have partnered up with the same kind of criminals from Cracovia and Panathinaikos to fight against AEK Athens' criminals.

    • I mean to the end of an Era where there was very few wars with the consent of USA (in other case you dont have one) to start a new cold war, in the cold war you have "proxys wars" between the superpowers envolved, thats what i want to say, we are in the new cold war like  with the conflicts you mention.

    • Meant to ask this during the Olympics, but how many of you non-USA peeps are familiar with this song?  In case you don't know, this was written for the LA84 games by John Williams, renowned film score composer (Star Wars, Superman, Jurassic Park, etc.).  NBC now uses this all the time in their Olympic promos, intros, etc.   I had a friend who moved from the US to England, and when the Olympics came on, he commented that he missed this song.  So, perhaps this song is unknown to non-USers...but I have a sneaky suspicion that you Olympics nerds might have heard it.         Another one NBC uses (though I just learned myself that this was originally by French-American Leo Arnaud, called Bugler's Dream, dating back to the 1964 Tokyo games...apparently in 1996, John Williams combined it with Olympic Fanfare):      The combined version:   Edit: I'm hoping to make it to an athletics session at LA28 so I can be in the stadium where he directed the orchestra to perform this song during the Opening Ceremony.  Williams is still alive, and at 94, I hope he can hang in there two more years to see the Olympics return to LA and receive some honor.  He also composed music for Atlanta '96, and the opening theme of Summon the Heroes also gets used by NBC a lot:
