The exception that confirms it by being exactly that: an exception Honestly, it'd even be fine if they called it sort of an 'allround sprint' or whatever, instead of calling the combination 'short hurdles', suggesting the combination consists of, well, short hurdle races. -

It's also just utter nonsense. A sprint competition with athletes running a 100 and 200, fine, or a middle-distance with them running 800 and 1500. But a 100 and a 110/100m hurdles is just....weird. And then actually calling it 'short hurdles', when literally half of the combination does not involve hurdles.

It’s going to be a rapid start of the season in 2028 as presumably all the champs and trials will be done by Mid June at the latest.
