  1. Exactly. I wish the "exotic" fruits for us weren't so expensive, but I'm happy with the ones available
  2. What I meant it's that I pick one (or more) of them to eat everyday, usually mango and bananas, pineapple is more like once a week. A picture I just took of my fruit bowl, basically all the fruits I mentioned are there Acerola juice is great, but when in season, it's so common where I live that I prefer other fruits, like guava, passion fruit, pineapple, and the basic orange and lime juices.
  3. That's like 3 of the most common fruits here and I eat one of them basically everyday + passion fruit juice (papaya it's also very common but I just don't like it that much)
  4. Probably they just don't care that much at this point. It must be pretty disappointing not qualifying to the Olympics.
  5. Probably not worth the risk competing in something like this a few days from the Olympics.
  6. Kinda sad to see they'll have such a small delegation after hosting somewhat successfully the 2018 South American Games.
  7. Just watched the two Rio 2016 documentaries available on the Olympic Channel. Days of Truce, like some previous official Olympics films, is a traditional recollection of the Games, focusing on a few athletes and the impact of the event on locals. While this documentary doesn't bring great filmmaking by any means, I thought it was successful in showing the good and bad side of Rio 2016 - and also made me remember the thrill of those days, including some events which I've attended. Like one of the brazilian athletes says in the film, this is not gonna happen again in our country (at least not in our lifetimes), so I feel privileged to have experienced it. Viva, a in-depth look about the Opening Ceremony, it's a much better documentary IMO. Shorter than the official film, it's a fascinaning movie for people who are interested about the process of conceiving and executing an Olympic ceremony. It was particularly interesting to know that some of the things we saw were decided a few days before the Opening. Kudos to the creative team who made a great ceremony given all the challenges.
  8. WTH? I didn't even watch the match after the beginning of the last quarter cause I thought it was pretty much decided.
  9. With Athletics, has surpassed 300 qualified athletes.
  10. Erlon de Souza - Sprint Canoeing (2016 silver medalist)
  11. TEAM Men Isaquias Queiroz (C1 1000m, C2 1000m) Jacky Godmann (C2 1000m) Vagner Souta (K1 1000m)
  12. AP is reporting that the football rosters will be expanded from 18 players to 22.
  13. Men's Team Arthur Nory Caio Souza Diogo Soares Francisco Barretto Jr Arthur Zanetti (individual)
  14. Ethiene Franco lenda injustiçada But seriously, McCallum in the team makes no sense. Maybe they just don't care since they're winning gold anyway.
  15. Keno Machado (Boxing) - won YOG Gold Maria Ieda Guimarães (Modern Pentathlon) Bruna Takahashi (Table Tennis) - was also part of the Rio 2016 team before YOG Not selected yet, but probably will: Diogo Soares (Gymnastics) - secured an individual spot for Brazil.
  16. I wasn't aware of this injury, and after watching the video I wish I hadn't known
  17. I was a little pessimistic regarding our number of athletes. As of today Brazil has qualified 278 athletes, which is now our record excluding the home Games.
  18. Women's Team Simone Biles Jordan Chiles Suni Lee Grace McCallum Jade Carey (individual) MyKayla Skinner (individual)
  19. Like Diego Hypolito, maybe third time's a charm
  20. Men's Team Brody Malone Sam Mikulak Yul Moldauer Shane Wiskus Alec Yoder (individual)
