  1. I forgot about Women's team sprint in track cycling. This is in my top 5 as well instead of Beck.
  2. 1. Dressage, Team (inspite of wimming "only" Bronze at the World Championships. Von Bredow Werndl is back, and IMO they are clear favourites. It's the only one I feel almost positive about one year before the championships) 2. Jessica von Bredow Werndl, Dressage individual 3. Florian Wellbrock, Open Water Swimming 4. Malaika Mihambo, Long Jump (Her injury should be minor enough for her to be back in shape next year. It will still be difficult, but I do think she has a good chance) 5. Leonie Beck, Open Water Swimming (Maybe. I am torn with Michael Jung in eventing and Ricarda Funk in canoe slalom, but in both of these sports, one small mistake can basically throw you out of the competition, so that's risky)
  3. Mihambo has called it a season. She's not going to be fit enough for the World Championships and now wants to give herself time to recover and focus on Rome and Paris next year.
  4. Mihambo is a bit more seriously injured, than it was originally hoped. She won't compete at the DL in Monaco, where she was originally supposed to start. Her coach said, that she'll only start in Budapest, if she has realistic chances to win a medal.
  5. It doesn't change much about your original argument, but Mihambo didn't compete at the European Games.
  6. Olympianorm für Tobias Potye. 2,34 Meter in Chorzow!
  7. Und Olympianorm über 1500 Meter für Katharina Trost: 4:02,32
  8. WM-Gold für das Mixed-team im Triathlon und damit der Quotenplatz im Mixed und je zwei Startplätze in den Einzelwettbewerben.
  9. Barring disaster on the last leg, Gold and the quota place will go to New Zealand or Germany.
  13. The medalists from the World Championships 2023 will qualify and then the 13 fastest relays from the World Championships 2023 and 2024 combined. So those who do not send a relay to Fukuoka need a fast time at next year's World Championships.
  14. Yes, you can get points. The Championships are Category C, so it's not that low. Of course the numer of points also depends on the time/distance.
  15. There is a cautious all-clear. An ultrasound examination did not reveal a tear in the thigh. It could have just been a hardening.
  16. But at least on day 1 (I don't know about day 2) the conditions were terrible:
  17. I would like to know this as well. Germany has become significantly weaker in the throwing events, that's for sure. But this is just the logical result of the development in the last decade or so.
  18. German national Championships, Kassel Women: 100m: Gina Lückenkemper 11,03 400m Hurdles: Carolina Krafzik 54,47 (in the preliminaries) Long Jump: Malaika Mihambo 6,93 Discus Throw: Kristin Pudenz 65,98 Men 200m: Joshua Hartmann 20,03 400m Hurdles: Joshua Abuaku 48,45 400m Hurdles: Constantin Preis 48,45 Pole Vault: Bo Kanda Lita Baehre 5,82 Javelin Throw: Julian Weber 88,72
  19. Long Jump World and Olympic Champion Malaika Mihambo injured herself on the fermur during her fourth attempt at the National Championships in Kassel.
  20. Austrian Athletics Championships (the event is finished), Bregenz Discus Throw, Men Lukas Weißhaidinger Source: Weißhaidinger überbietet bei ÖM Olympia-Limit | SN.at
