  1. Breaking news in our tennis federation site claim that Schmiedlová was just added officially to the main draw. So 4 SVK in AO Singles, Andrej Martin, Norbert Gomboš among M and Viki Kužmová with Anna Karolína Schmiedlová in W Singles No Kližan nor Lacko is unfortunate but expected result of their very poor recent form, in other hand I feel So sorry for Rebecca Šramková, she was so close...
  2. Zuzana Remeňová with points in her absolute seniors debut. Nice
  3. Ehm... Czech Republic and Olympics, that is a long story of successes and great amazing athletes through different sports from athletics decathlons to Rowing Single Sculls but obviously the top prestigious result should be considered the Nagano 1998 Tournament of Century triumph (Winning that first ever tournament with NHLers under the five rings is somehow still so underrated achievement in the world sport, I really seriously can not understand why. It was and is one hell of an achievement !) First shots of TV news of 22nd February dedicated to this huge achievement

  7. This ! No one know how exactly this is supposed to work, we heard rumors the period being extended until next mid-season or after 1st next season trimester, also some worst races being scratched for each nation...but still nothing precise, 1 year from the olympics and we still dont know how will teams qualify...

  10. we´ll see. Big globe is certainly a very atractive and prestigious prize, no slovak athlete has won yet in any winter sport in history, so would be definitely a huge thing if it will happen. I still just hope she will not focus on the big globe and concentrate more in the next 2021/22 season on GS and SL, remember a Olympic gold (or any other medal) in Alpine Skiing is also something any athlete from our country never achieved so far even in the former TCH era, and who knows when such chance will occure again
  11. aha, to som nevedel, nuž je to fakt smola. dík za vysvetlenie
  13. Ok, I will change my predictions, but if anyone is specially curious about my personal opinion , I think the matches in question should not count.

  16. The only way to organize such event like the Team sport WCh right now (before or during the early vaccination period) is to form a special strict bubble with all teams there at least 2 weeks before the start of the tournament and also force all partiipating teams to stay before their arrival also in special strict bubbles in their home countries for at least 2 weeks + testing, testing, testing and retesting... IIHF & Canada showed during the new years holidays to the world that it is possible to organize such event. IHF should learn from IIHF lol

  22. How you can in a team sport world championships change qualified teams by non qualified less than 24 hours of the tournament start is something just beyond me.
  23. One of the best threads, definitely should be revived. PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics. Kaitlyn Lawes eventual Gold medalist in Curling Mixed Doubles throwing a wrong stone in the round robin game against host South Korea. One of my fav "bloopers" PC 2018 moments https://www.olympicchannel.com/en/video/detail/canada-s-kaitlyn-lawes-throws-the-wrong-curling-stone/
  24. I knew this will happen, Petra is not training (or rather to say has very limited amount of trainings) slaloms anymore in last weeks, it is already shocking she was able to finish 4th here, just like in Semmering, she definitely missed her slalom mojo. Now, the question is, it is realy so important to fight for the wole globe, or rather return to focus on her strongest SL & GS events, where she can with better focus actually win something. Now, she cearly is losing too much against her opponents..
