  1. Day 3 at EYOF 2023 . Shock in Spittal brought Slovakia its first and extremely unexpected medal (Still pending confirmation from the organizing committee though). .In fact, Girls Ice Hockey team shocked the top favorite of the tournament the unbeaten by a score of 4-2 (Obviously everything again directed, cooked and served by the Super talented phenom Nela Lopušanová) Tonight 2+2 in total already 11 points for 6 goals and 5 assists in 3 matches According official IIHF rules we should be already the group winner, no matter of the last SUI-AUT match even if win in regulation Time We would have 6 points just like FIN and SUI and in the mini-table counting only games between those three teams we are 3 points and score 7-6 FIN is 3 points and score 4-4 and thus should finish 2nd and play for Bronze SUI would be in that case at 3 points and score 4-5 and finish 3rd in the group... BUT, we will have to wait for the confirmation from Organizing committee, the organizers have yet to clarify points in the technical manual, which is vaguely written. . Slovak Boys Ice Hockey Team in other hand ended the complete flop in the preliminary round today by another brutal defeat, this time from in a match without defence 5-7. We were leading 3-1 but a nightmarish 2nd period changed the script of this match. .The Boys finished the group pointless and will play only for 5th Place... .Among the rest there not so much to mention, apart the 6th place of the Short-Track Mixed Relay (2nd in Final-B) led by Lea Popovičová once again (Photo 1) .Adam Nováček (Photo 2) in Boys Slalom with BIB 33 finished at respectable 17th position as the best of our quartet .Michal Adamov in great 13th and Alžbeta Garguláková (Photo 3) in 15th places were our best todays Biathlon results in the sprints results Day 3 (Tuesday 24th January, 2023)

  3. We did it ! We beat Finland in female ice hockey ! Well, yes ofc I meant Nela did it ! Lopušanová beat Finland Team Lopušanová - Finland 4-2 and Team Lopušanová by this win Topped the preliminary Group ladies and Gentlemen. She is just from another planet, probably even from another galaxy. In all my life I never witnessed such hockey talent at 14 years of age ffs everyone aboard of the hype train ! choo-choo #NelaLopušanováforpresident
  4. Team M Singles: Adam Hagara W Singles: Alexandra Michaela Filcová Mixed Ice Dance: Anna Šimová/Kirill Askenov Any qualification for the free skate/free dance would be a major upset. very unlikely it can even happen, the goals are realistically more about equalling/beating their respective PBs and finish as higher as possible in the final standings

  24. Day 2 at EYOF 2023 . Two Top 10s and first Hoxkey win for Team Slovensko at Day 2 of the EYOF .Lea Popovičová improved her yesterday 7th place from 1500m by one place and finished 6th in Todays 500m Short Track sprint by winning the Final-B .The Short Track Speed Skating Mixed relay advanced to Final-B, where it will tomorrow race for 5th-8th places .Tamara Mesíková wrote Slovak history finishing in Top 10 of the Ski Jumping competition. The 15 years already experienced ski jumper ended her first Olympic-style-event debut in 9th place in the Girls Normal Hill event . Slovak Girls Ice Hockey Team signed its first win of the tournament defeating the co-host nation in Spittal 5-4. .All 5 goals were directed and scripted by Nela Lopušanová, the Super-talented 14 years old phenom scored a hattrick and added 2 goal Assists. Already leading the Tournament Scoreboard with 4 Goals and 3 Assists (7 points) in 2 games. .Sadly yesterday´s very painful and injust defeat against Switzerland will means the team will play very likely only for 5th place, if by some extremely unlikely miracle the girls will not beat Finland in preliminary groups last match tomorrow in Regulation Time. .The Boys team lost in its opening game to Slovak hockey eternal nemesis 2-4 despite leading twice in the match 1:0 and 2:1. .The lead was so unexpected that even the Udine local arena speaker was confused and after we opened the score he by mistake announced the goal wrongly scored by team Finland results Day 2 (Monday 23rd January, 2023)
  25. Lopušanová - Austria 5-4 3+2 Tonight not even trying hard to be fair, every shift with Nela on ice, 80% of time she had the puck on her stick in O-Zone doing whatever she wanted to do. Was not really fair to Austria sometimes, circling all 5 players from left to right and then back from right to left still the puck on her stick just for fun every shift with Nela on the bench, was a mayhem for us, Austria was in our D-zone and scored 4 goals. so yep, Lopušanová - Austria 5-4. This girl will be something with a big S in the future I assure you
