wow Marie-Zelia Lafont is a real upset. Honestly not the best solution for France. Klauss-Peche was expected, but the fight for the C2 quota is one of the hardest competition ever, with 3 great boats!!! also Gargaud-Chanut in C1 is fine, he is the best french c1 racer now, so it should be ok. mens K1 is also a open category for France 3 great athletes fighting for only 1 quota, Combot wouldn´t be my choice but well, if he beat Boris Neveu in the internal qualifier so it mean he is in best shape right now.
