  6. We lost to Italy I was almost certain it will be impossible to do worse and fall deeper than last years defeat in Luxembourg, but nope I was wrong, because.. yes we can ! Congrats Italy for the historic and well deserved win Now the competition between Basketball and Handball for our worst and more pathetic sport is even more open. At least one good news from this may be more money for hockey next year
  7. More than 400 doping controls has been provided by the Slovak Antidoping Agency last year. They announced it during todays annual SVK Anti-Doping Agency press conference. In total our Anti-doping agency performed 318 Urine tests (154 of them in-competitions and 164 out-of-competition) and 114 Blood tests. The most tested athlete was as usual Peter Sagan who was tested 26 times last year (20 in-competition and 6 out-of-competition) followed by Anastasiya Kuzmina who was tested last year 18 times (8 in-competition and 10 out-of-competition tests), followed by Paulína Fialková and Petra Vlhová (8 times) The most tests last year were taken n Athletics (43) followed by Canoeing Sprint (29) and Bodybuilding (24) Among team sports it was Ice Hockey as usual (19) followed by Handball (18) and Basketball (17) Apparently 9 cases had to be investigated (All in bodybuilding and powerlifting lol) https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/392131/dopingovi-komisari-vyhladavali-vlani-najcastejsie-sagana-a-kuzminovu/

  15. In all IIHF events, the first and main tie breaker is always the head to head result. So always when two teams are tied in points, you have to look for the result and winner of their respective match. So here as well, if win over the in Regulation Time both teams will be at 12 points. Poland will be ranked first because of win in the h2h confrontation. absolutely no matter if you win 1-0, 5-0 or 100-0. (the overal goal average has absolutely no impact. it may have influence only in case of a 3 or more teams points tie, we then need to have a mini table of the concerned teams and their respective matches, first tiebreaker points from those games, and if there still a tie only then we use the second tiebreaker the overal score and if still tied, the 3rd tiebreaker will be higher amount of scored goals for, if still tiedthe next tiebreaker is the result of all 3 or more teams against the higher next ranked team, if still tied, then the very last tiebreaker is the IIHF ranking seeding of the teams before the tournament - but again this is only for 3 or more teams tied on points)
  16. Looks like Slovakia may finally have a decent athlete in this sport in the future, the young Marius Fizel is showing some interesting and promising results in the Junior European Cup, He won back to back both stages last 2 weekends in Greece and Italy, winning all matches by ippon. Fun fact, His Todays semifinal win after 53 seconds has become btw apparently also the fastest victory ever of a Slovak judoka at any international competition, well, there were not so many victories in our history.. but still Now, yeah, I know, it´s only about juniors and I have absolutely no idea about the level of his opponents, so maybe too much hopes are a bit exacgerated, I really don´t know..but, still it´s really unusual to notice two gold medals won by one our athlete in a combat sport during two consecutive weekends.

  19. I think you have strongly confused me with someone else buddy I've never been in a lab except the mandatory physics and chemistry at my elementary school and since I was absolutely desolate in these matters, I even chose a high school where these subjects were not taught at all. So the last time I was in a lab I was something like 12-13 years old
