Big News! The 2019 Pacific Games live coverage will be offered in HD! (Which is great because it’s been 480p at best, so this actually news even though I’m being sarcastic about it). Also revealed is that a minimum of 8 hours of live coverage will be offered everyday. Also, also revealed is the Olympic Channel will be the rights holding broadcaster for Asia, Europe, and the Americas (no clue what happened to Africa). If you have a vpn TV3 Samoa will offer extra coverage domestically (though I don’t know of any vpns with a sever in Samoa), and additional footage will be available on the games website. Oh good, so I can use like one to recover my sleep schedule from the European Games and then do it again. At least Italy is a little friendlier in its time zones.

What sport?

I will rarely defend any Russian athletes, but the Armenian athlete just bullied the hell out of him, showed bad sportsmanship, and took cheap shots, and was awarded the sambo match. Not a good look for the sport.

Shooting is live. An Olympic quota is on the line. Pretty small venue when compared to other centers around the world.

Not many as it draws from those disciplines. It’s a little more MMA like. There’s move that are legal in Sambo that are illegal in freestyle wrestling. The scoring system is different too.
