@Kiruphagaran That is called branding...Even after ISL majority of the Indians would struggle to name 3-4 Indian names. Take any sports all we have 2-3 names in all events and rest are not showcased. That is why we have people like Jwala trying her best to get into limelight. Force people to know you, Make yourself more present in social media, Be more presentable. Try to market yourself then only people will know you. Because only Sachin, Dhoni or Kohli have been top brands so they are role models and rest of the people only in books..

Very sad with Deepika's performance. A top archer of her caliber missing a arrow and firing a 5 is a sign of nerves which I cant say. A #1 ranked archer doing this should be called a crime, But all are humans and nerves can catch anyone if not handled properly. Hope she does best in the main rounds....

@sameerph This reminds me off the American if not mistaken in 2004 who just had to hit the board in shooting to get gold but shot zero to loose not only the gold but get no medal...he had a lead of around 6 I think...But he gained the best in life, He got an consoler in shooting partner who later turned to be his wife....

Main problem is mental conditioning for our athletes...They need to have psychological sessions...Deepika was just that case where pressure took toll on her...She accepted that fact indirectly..Can't blame athletes for that.....This is important part of training for international athletes, But Indians hardly get this...And then blame game of not performing...Sportspeople will understand my point...Fans are bound to be frustrated but all go for glory and not for fun...No one wants slip up.
