  1. Meanwhile some people in India are under observation for the coronavirus now, RIP. You know shit is gonna hit the fan big time when the country known for incredibly terrible hygiene and a huge amount of people gets infected.
  2. @Kirkpatrick Is the Eurosport Player working fine for you as well now?
  3. Normally it's just the sprints and pursuits that are streamed, so I'd wait a bit.
  4. Yeah same here with two questions I believe. One I had wrong anyway, the other (Prince Albert) was obviously right
  5. Apparently they were on their way to Kobe's Mamba Academy.
  6. Again, TMZ is usually not wrong about these things, sadly.
  7. Apparently ABC News came with a rumour (?) saying his daughters were on the helicopter as well..
  8. By the way, there were 3 others on board, none survived..
  9. Sadly TMZ, shitty as celebrity sites like this may be, is generally not known to be wrong. Also: reporters from among others ESPN have mentioned it has been confirmed to them by local law enforcement.
  10. Holy crap, Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash..
  11. I'm talking about the ones who are from countries where more and more are getting in the bigger teams, like Eritrea. They are in it to be a pro cyclist, not just to compete in those championships. Obviously it's still early days for African cycling, but they really do need to learn those things, especially if we want to see an African win a race like this.
  12. Tore Bjørseth Berdal won the 70km Marcialonga in the Val di Fiemme today, which again sadly looked rather...underwhelming in terms of snow situation. Nothing beats the Vasaloppet Anyhow, Berdal beat Petter Eliassen and Tord Asle Gjerdalen after attacking at the end of the final climb. Kari Vikhagen Gjeitnes won the women's race which was surprisingly competitive for a change: Astrid Slind finished only 7 seconds behind.
  13. In the Bongo Natnael Tesfatsion showed he, like most African riders, still has a whole lot to learn in terms of tactics...throwing away the GC win by one second because of not paying attention in the intermediate sprints https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/la-tropicale-amissa-bongo/2020/stage-7
  14. Richie Porte did NOT win the final Tour Down Under stage After 6 consecutive wins on Willunga Hill, he now came in only 2nd (and still won the overall) Matthew Holmes of Lotto-Soudal won the final stage, quite a big surprise for the World Tour rookie.
  15. Oh and in which city the 2009 Francophone Games were held isn't the main thing I've remembered neither
  16. I forgot Definitely the poem, that was a pure gamble of course. The Hey there Delilah one was a gamble as well but magically I had that right, I never knew that was about sports in any way
  17. Yeah that annoying GPS thing is why I'm planning to set my watch on a 22km countdown for the estimated finish time instead of selecting 'Half marathon'. If I go with 22km and it says I'm on pace for 2:00-2:02 or something, I'm pretty confident that means sub-2 hour for the actual half marathon
  18. The chance of that is probably bigger now that she'll skip a race instead of forcing her body beyond it's limits.
  19. If Fourcade ends up face down in the snow after the finish, you know it was hard.
  20. I hope Fourcade brought some coins to pay for the parking he's doing right there.
  21. JTB is not nearly fast enough to threaten QFM
  22. Just above 53 minutes is more than excellent Ever tried running a bit slower? That'd make the half marathon a lot easier
  23. That's next level conspiracy If it came from a lab and not (like pretty much every related virus) from animals, I'd still think the biggest chance is it 'leaked' in some sort of accident in a normal research lab instead of bio-warfare
  24. I hope she's not expecting the same results on normal speed courses though, if there was one weekend to try it, it was obviously this one where the technical specialists had a huge advantage
