I came across her family and asked her brother if she's ok, he seemed to mostly suggest she is.

Apparently countries (or athletes, but I think countries) that wouldn't compete in Milan, were simply not even allowed to be in the Milan ceremony Brazil was the sole exception, because clothes sponsor Moncler used their money and influence to make sure their clothes would be shown in Milan and not one of the minor 'walks'. Honestly, 10/10 for the friendliness of people working there, but organizing something in an efficient and logical manner doesn't seem to be people's strong suit here Oh well, anyway, the fear among smaller teams is the track will be salted tonight, so it will be fine for the top athletes but destroyed even more for the ones after that. Expect lots of falls and athletes going down carefully.
