I believe this was tested out somewhere last season, rather unspectacularly...the speed difference is just so big it really only depends on the women's strength. -

This, probably. Look at Wikipedia for two years ago, it also shows a Q for the whole top-10, it's just some basic template Although there have been rumours about FIS making an exception due to there only being two (!) qualifiers, but I doubt it.

Excellent, at least there's still a chance and something to fight for in the next 10-11 months or so. Staying under 300 in the FIS list won't be an issue.

Help me out on the Olympic qualification a bit: Brazil has one woman who got a basic quota today, so they have one quota place. Is only the one athlete who got under 300 points today eligible for that, or is it up to the Brazilian federation to give this quota to any of the Brazilian women who have a total of under 300 FIS points on the regular FIS points list? In other words, is there still a pathway (even if theoretical) for @brunamoura?

And a DNF for Victor indeed. Ouch, that is painful beyond words for the federation (and him, obviously and unfortunately, he's a nice guy after all).

Pretty sure Victor either stepped out of the race or went the wrong way. He went a different way than someone else a little bit ago (a Mongolian) and he should have long passed his next split by now.
