  1. Probably easier to post actually announced teams here France: Switzerland: Italy:
  2. Well that's always very easy to say once the team is leading, you barely ever hear people say that before the match actually starts
  3. Except for that one goal Wales 1
  4. Time for England vs Wales, this derby must without doubt be one of the most anticipated of all group matches
  5. That's in the men's competition right?
  6. India is out, Poland is out.. Edit: I think the commentator meant Polish women and Indian men are out.
  7. I've tuned in the live stream now, what am I watching and will this match already decide who goes to Rio?
  8. I wonder if El Salvador's qualified archer testing positive might open the way for a wild card for Arevalo Unfortunately I doubt it...I guess the number of qualified athletes for Rio doesn't matter.
  9. I think it's pretty clear: no, weightlifting should not be on the Olympic program for a while.
  10. Yeah Benzema was not exactly being a nice guy there I'm joing your hope about Albania by the way, let's go for a surprise
  11. Same kind of logic as Johan Cruijf and his "As long as you have possession of the ball, the other team doesn't"
  12. As long as they're French and good
  13. I voted for the second one by the way, because it doesn't show the athletes but the "playing fields" and I like it
  14. Drinks all over my desk thanks to this post, thanks a lot
  15. Yep. I was going through the rankings of the past years and it's incredible to see how China basically dominates especially the lighter women categories Maybe not always in terms of winning everything, but mostly when looking at the vast amounts of Chinese lifters in the world's top-20 in those weights, incredible.
  16. Thanks! Salimi is probably the first weightlifter I ever heard of, so I'm always somewhat interested in how he's doing even though on here I learned he's not much of a "nice guy" (with his PlayStation-playing scandals ). Nowadays Om is my favourite, but if you're someone who has absolutely never seen anything of weightlifting, it's easy to see Salimi and think "awesome! He's my favourite now!" Also I saw that there are some betting odds for weightlifting online since today and if Salimi was still injured, odds of 2 for him not to win the gold seemed quite good, but in this case I'll let that slip
  17. Well I'm not complaining, our players normally don't do this so for us it's only good when opponents think it's a good idea to stop eating during a major championship
  18. Last question, for now How is Salimi doing these days? I saw he lifted 430kg in Tehran, but I'm not sure how to interpret that: A) He's gettng back after injury and starting to get in shape or B) he's still injured and it's not looking good. Lot of questions these days but I'm trying to vastly improve my 'knowledge' for when the Olympics start
  19. Thanks! I just found the full results of those Chinese nationals and that's some serious stuff going down there https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rk_SqBJl8x9qWtnH3aiKR27l1dKkgcRXCO1A3xAsFIo/edit#gid=0
  20. Does anyone know whether or not Zhou Lulu is actually still active? She seems like the only one who might be able to beat Kashirina, but she has not a single result after the 2014 Asian Games..
  21. Athletes should get special permission to do that one month later, because year after year this thing messing up competitions
  22. So you might say Denmark is the only nation ever to lose the first 2 Euro matches in their history yet win a title as well.
  23. Good one. Yeah, that one earlier sort of half time where I said Wales is my favourite at Euro and I support Slovakia because of one of our most appreciated members in Totallympics By the way, Iceland is my other favourite (semi-Vikings FTW), whereas Portugal is the main nation I'd like to see lose because of both Cristiano and historical reasons
  24. Hoping for English trouble now because I'm very much hoping that Wales and Slovakia both go through I don't care much for Russia and England on the other hand (not because of what happened earlier, I just don't care )
