    Apparently it was pretty bad in rehearsals as well....vocals, the overall look, everything came across very...I don't know, nervous.

    So disappointed by Norway....one of my favorite overall songs (so not just ESC) in terms of the studio version, but this was honestly a dramatic performance Malta sounded fun, Serbia went by rather unnoticed. A bit of half music and then it was suddenly done. Latvia...meh, not great.

    I wonder if that actually works for them, since judo still sounds like a relatively niche sport...at least not like a massively bigger sport than say 5-10 years ago. Are that many people really going to pay €100 a year to watch judo?

    Yep, so that's fine, easy to avoid spoilers when it's on the Eurosport channels and their desktop player is excellent (unlike their app, whereas the Eurosport Player app was great, the new Eurosport app has an awful player)

    Wouldn't IJF have live streams on their YouTube channel? Nothing in the Netherlands shows it, so it shouldn't be geoblocked, but their channel seems...empty.

    As expected with a stage like this: absolutely nothing happening until the last few kilometers. And then a big crash, with some riders being hit fairly hard and a lady in the audience making a nasty fall as well. Hopefully everyone is alright.

    Meanwhile an intensely unhappy - by the looks of it - King Charles has now been officially crowned. With the focus not really being on the coronation but on the entire group of religious circus acts around it

    At least with Roglic and Evenepoel, two of the four big GC riders of this moment are present, which - if they don't run into trouble - at least increases the chance of not having another winner like Jai Hindley of all places ahead of some have-beens Nothing against Hindley, but yeah...that's a bit of an outlier in the list of recent GC winners (although not more so than Geoghegan Hart arguably).
