  1. 60.49m but I don't know after how many attempts.
  2. Mostly she made her move too late and had no space to go to the outside anymore.
  3. And Brugger out as well
  4. The decathlon used for Kaul is not from Götzis, but from Grosseto last year and compared to that, he was now slightly faster in the 100m. A bit odd to choose the Grosseto one since that was with U20 events, but alright, at least it explains it.
  5. That is so dumb...why not take one completely risk-free attempt for 6.50-7.00 or something, just to at least have some points (which he could easily make up)...
  6. Mayer, duuuuuude
  7. It's still a long way to go
  8. Thanks for explaining the joke
  9. Mayer in trouble..if he had hit one of those first two jumps (as in, not foul) he would even expand on his PB course.
  10. Still not a word about what's going on with Kromowidjojo, although the federation has said they'll give an explanation 'later this morning'. That all sounds rather worrying....I mean, if she got sick overnight, wouldn't one simply expect them to say "She got sick, so she won't start today"?
  11. Agreed. You don't often see athletes cry that much when being DSQ'ed in the race walk (since it's part of the game), but being forced to give up with an injury is something else..
  12. Forecast top-10 after one event:
  13. Or sports in general, what's the point of hitting a small ball to some other dude back and forth until one of them doesn't?
  14. Ouch, Hellebrandt stepped on a bottle (?) and seemed to hurt his ankle..
  15. All split times at 10 and 12 km were gone (for everyone) suddenly, so that's what I thought
  16. Never trust live timing...yet
  17. Mayer started his journey to 9000 points
  18. Thanks, I always forget it even though it makes perfect sense to have a bent icon > for bent knees and a floating icon ~ for 'floating'
  19. I would say it's sort of the same
  20. And, in case of the 50km, by far the most heroic event. Even the marathon doesn't have this kind of going to the absolute limits of the human body, at least by the looks of it.
  21. Throwing events would be a better place to reduce something. Why throw a shot, a shot with a chain attached to it, a discus and a javelin? Or triple jump, what's the meaning of looking at who is the best at combining a skip, hop and jump?
  22. Great that the legend in the race walking live timing says so much about the meaning of ~ and >
  23. You, on the other hand, are certainly not fast enough to break any record
  24. 17.20m as Q for the women's shot put
  25. On course to break the world record by around 2 hours.
