  1. Not much different than the English bagel for a 6-0 set (or of course the double bagel for two of those)
  2. When your goalkeeper has the ball, the other team won't score.
  3. Out of curiousity: when talking about the Portuguese guy, do you guys talk about Ronaldo or Cristiano Ronaldo? I'm basically always calling him Cristiano Ronaldo (at least the first time I mention him), but I notice many people just say Ronaldo (which, when I hear that for the first time in a conversation, makes me think about the Brazilian one)
  4. Correction: the youngest average starting 11 for France since 1930 (when they had a younger team)
  5. Like a very old low-resolution screen with broken pixels.
  6. Yeah...that 18 million dollars ain't gonna turn him into a poor man
  7. Even when you've got millions rolling into your bank account every week and 18 million is an amount you probably won't even notice is gone?
  8. Decent way to answer to the country that gave you a 2 year jail sentence (sort of, not like he actually has to go) and an 18 million euro fine
  9. Meanwhile I was so confused about the posts above this one...how could people talk about goals 20 minutes ago when the match started 21.00 CET? Looks like I was mistaken by an hour
  10. What are your predictions for Portugal - Spain? I had 1-0 and am hoping for a draw
  11. You are seeing things that don't exist. Time and time again, small riots break out here when Morocco has some important win or loss, that's all. I could not care less about their or anyone else's religion And apart from that, I like Iran in sports. Mostly thanks to MHSN's frequent insights in Iranian sports on here.
  12. Iran Riots in major cities in the Netherlands in 3, 2...
  13. Out of pure curiosity: why do people support countries that are from the same continent as them, even when it's an entirely different country hundreds or even thousands of kilometers away? Is it just because of some continental pride or because one simply finds the country/team interesting?
  14. No, that's some random woman. Also the guy who works there explaining to my dad that in biathlon the bolt is a little different This rifle was much heavier by the way.
  15. For those interested, a certain Brazilian biathlete got a chance to 'train' at the shooting club in my small town today (with my dad, a military guy, who she very clearly outshot on the targets )
  16. Cofidis-fight between Nacer Bouhanni and Christophe Laporte They both sprinted for the win here and Bouhanni won after looking at the finish photo: https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/la-route-d-occitanie/2018/stage-1 As per usual, Bouhanni lost his shit as soon as 1 thing did not entirely go his way and apparently it was his plan that only he would sprint and not Laporte. Only a matter of time before Bouhanni gets (more) aggressive.
  17. Referee wants his place in the history books
  18. I didn't mean the goal I meant a moment a bit after that (when it was 1-0), when a Russian passed the ball to a teammate who was widely offside and more or less screwed up the chance (luckily, to avoid some drama).
  19. That was 5 meters offside for the Russian dude
  20. Intertops had a bunch of cool special bets, like "Will Cristiano Ronaldo admit, in an official press conference, that Lionel Messi is the best player ever?" (odds of 201) and "Will Italy be present and play at least one World Cup match?" (odds of 1001)
