  1. Blink Festival The program: http://www.ski-nordique.net/blink-festival-2018-le-programme-complet.6136274-72348.html
  2. I think it very much depends on where you live and what the average human there is used to Last week when it was 37-38 here (nearly the all-time record) going outside of the house felt like walking against a wall of boiling air The other side counts too: I'm perfectly fine when it's -10 degrees - sure, cold, but no problems or something - whereas I remember my first (Brazilian) girlfriend's first contact with temperatures of around 5 degrees made her nearly unable to breathe
  3. Biggest like button I've seen so far here
  4. 5. Exactly. He's also not on the list published by the Portuguese federation, which basically says enough.
  6. Apparently this is an automatically updating map of the area. Sevilla has already hit 40 degrees at the moment.
  7. Bookmaker's favourites in the men's 1500 meters
  8. Sure we can, but there's quite a lot of talk about it so why not open a thread about it just like with music, movies/series and science/technology? This time I actually agree
  9. Several models are reporting possibly 50 degrees in Portugal in the next few days, so anyone knows where we can follow live updates on that? The European record is 48.0 degrees in Athens in 1977.
  10. Cyclists are a tiny bit sarcastic about Lappartient's plans and they do have a rather good point.
  11. In case something is gonna happen, there's a live blog here: https://www.athletics.africa/news-features/liveblogs/live-blog-day-1-caa-african-senior-championships-asaba-2018-14555
  12. They're not even getting the photos right
  13. I guess we'll have to wait and see then. I definitely hope we'll see him in action, it would severely devaluate the event if he can't start.
  14. Yeah because who wants to see official results and stuff, useless! By the way, this quote from Delta State's governor when they were awarded the hosting rights last year
  15. I very much hope the IAAF's site is wrong.. Any chance he might not be eligible for IAAF competitions, but it's no problem for a European Athletics competition?
  16. I'm almost afraid to ask, but is there some sort of results/timing website?
  17. Right, in that case I guess it's not gonna be difficult at all for Brazil. It'd be an awesome way for Raiza Goulão to get some redemption after her incredible ride in the Brazilian champs earlier this month (where she had no chance to win because of a mechanical at the worst possible moment after a few minutes).
  18. There we go I guess. At least if there's a South American championships and not just a Pan-American one
  19. Great, Sir Mister Excellence His Highness Sebastian Coe has arrived in Asaba, no problem, we can start tomorrow!
  20. Lagos has a relatively easy to reach airport, that would make it much harder to mess up the organization.
