Kuzmina has confirmed she is not going for the World Cup, right? As in, she is going to skip a lot of races apart from sprints? Just asking because the commentator just told that after losing the World Cup by 3 points last season, she is now again fighting for every point

Well I forgot about what @LDOG mentioned (games often being played in one stadium), so in that situation it makes sense of course. When there are multiple stadiums, I really can't imagine why they'd let the games be played at separate times, besides, obviously, money.

Well yeah, but I would at least always make a distinction between men and women, because in sports men and women also have their own categories (apart from stuff like korfball and equestrian)

The whole lot - women, men, Paralympians - are all thrown together into one award? That makes it even harder to choose...I don't follow shooting or canoeing so it's hard to say, but I might go for Kuzmina.

At least choosing Bagnaia as promising athlete is not that weird, compared to choosing him as 'breakout' or surprise of the year or something He is, indeed, a very promising athlete.
