  1. Miami, Vietnam, 2020 is going to be full...I wonder if they will actually happen since nothing is confirmed yet Meanwhile in the Netherlands the battle has been big in recent years (especially since Max Verstappen's entry) between Assen and Zandvoort and finally there seems to be news....according to a prince, who owns the historic Zandvoort track, Formula One Management has made an offer and if they sign it (costs are 30-40 million euros) the Grand Prix of the Netherlands will be back after 35 years in 2020, in Zandvoort https://www.telegraaf.nl/sport/2752533/formule-1-kiest-voor-zandvoort That'd be so freaking awesome, I love Zandvoort. Assen is cool too, but for motorbikes mostly, Zandvoort is one of the most charming tracks in the world, hidden in the dunes and right by the sea.
  2. It took me a really long time, but I think I finally managed to find out the identity of the co-commentator in the men's wrestling on the WrestlingTV videos After Shahinyan's bronze medal he was so happy about it, talking about how he shared rooms with Shahinyan and stuff like that, and saying things like "Always he was telling me that, Arsen I don't understand why it's not enough for me". First clues! The co-commentator is Armenian and not only that, he's called Arsen! The first suspect is Arsen Julfalakyan and after an interview of 2014 with him on YouTube, I think it's him This confirmed it basically: https://unitedworldwrestling.org/fr/node/5285?tab=match/335/seniors-gr-77-julfalakyana-arm-bjurbergkesa-swe/0defec85-b117-11e8-88eb-080027acf3d2 Because the mystery commentator was talking about how he beat this Swedish guy at that competition in Poland recently
  3. Yep, noticed it earlier today. Which suuuuucks because the classic FIS website was by far the best website of any sports federation in terms of easily finding results, athletes and statistics.
  4. By the way, can provisional results be found anywhere? I'd like to know the results of today's competitions, even though I know there were no A groups yet.
  5. This already sounds like an epic mess. Luckily it's in Turkmenistan so everything will be perfect
  6. Bolsonaro isn't even sworn in yet and already Brazilian sports federations are preparing for the worst, because funding is most likely going to be cut very short from next year on For example no special bonuses anymore for winning South American championships and stuff like that.
  7. Translations in Dutch seem to be fine, but give me a bit of time I've selected Dutch for now but I don't think I will keep it...it's just weird to have a forum where everyone speaks English but the settings and 'forum things' (like "Posted xx hours ago by xxx") are in a different language
  8. Everything is English here, I'll check when I'm at home :P
  9. User for two minutes and already an admin, this is fishy.
  10. I hope so, and I hope they can be watched on-demand there or otherwise I'm yet again (like last year) back to hoping people upload full events on YouTube quickly...
  11. It has been :D too since forever, I've literally always typed :D (except for the rare occassion where I missed Shift) and it always works, like :P which also doesn't work anymore :P
  12. Wow, it actually is written in Italic there :D (again, :D not working ) Wait, doesn't work in the first two tries, but then it works
  13. Then one of them becomes IOC president and in 2056 or something we are introduced to ''Mr XX YYY, the 2020 dudes Olympic skateboarding champ"
