  1. why they have the 2 best quarterfinals (on paper, at least) at exactly the same time? why??? they should get back to the age when they had the quarterfinals over 2 days...
  2. I guess that sooner or later something wil be published here: http://www.panamwf.org/eventos/2018/05/campeonato-panamericano-de-mayores-2018.aspx/Evento-en and maybe there's a chance to find something also on the Dominican or Colombian weoghtlifting facebook/twitter accounts...
  3. well, Russia beating Sweden is not such a surprising result...it's always a theoretically close match that can go in either directions any given day...

  5. but we're not talking about regular" Kitesurfing...we're talking about another not yet existing enthusiasmating "mixed" competition... personally, I'm disgusted... shame on ISAF, Paris LOC, IOC and to all the people supporting this "gender equality" farce...
  6. Yesterday a new Pistol & Rifle Shooting World Cup stage came to an end... after the Asian trip, the tour flew to Fort Benning, Georgia, USA (the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Shooting Range)... and the final Medal Table didn't change their main "owner", since China dominated the field and won 4 Gold Medals... following the Asian super-team, we have 6 European Nations with 1 Gold Medal each (GRE, ESP, GER, HUN, BUL, CRO)... the Medal table is completed by 5 other Countries that got at least 1 Medal, but no Gold ones (SRB, DEN, FIN, FRA and THA)... full results, here: http://www.issf-sports.org/competitions/venue/schedule_by_discipline.ashx?cshipid=2392 for Italy, just a bunch of disappointing results (a couple of bitter 4th places included)...
  7. it was a farce in 2015 and it will be a farce in 2019... it's only a celebration of the former Soviet Republics' power... the real European Champions are those who win the single discipline European Champs, not this joke...

  12. the black (bloody) Sunday of Italian Fencing... in Paris, the men's epee team lost to the Netherlands in round of 32 and no girls did make the round of 16 in the women's individual sabre in Moscow... "when you get to the bottom, you can always start digging" (cit.)

  14. so, at the end of the week Spain surprisingly end up on top of the medal table with 3 Gold Medals, thanks especially (almost only) to their great Kata specialists... in the second place of the Medal Table, with the same number of Gold Medals of the Spaniards (but with less Silver Medals, despite the 10 in total), we have Turkey... followed by last year's toppers, Italy, who won the same number of total medals of 2017 (10), but "only" 2 of those being Gold, which is quite good, but not as good as expected..and it's definitely penalizing in terms of the final Nations Ranking... France and Switzerland also got 2 Gold Medals, finishing 4th and 5th respectively, just ahead of a group of 4 Nations who won "only" 1 Gold Medal each... the Final Medal Table is completed by 12 other Countries (overall, we have 21 Nations with at least 1 Medal), who couldn't get the major honor, but still got some satisfaction... and that's it for 2018...
  15. Karate European Championships 2018, Final Medal Table ESP, 3 / 2 / 1 TUR, 3 / 1 / 6 ITA, 2 / 3 / 5 FRA, 2 / 0 / 3 SUI, 2 / 0 / 0 AZE, 1 / 2 / 2 UKR, 1 / 1 / 2 BIH, 1 / 0 / 1 MKD, 1 / 0 / 0 CRO, 0 / 2 / 2 AUT, 0 / 1 / 1 HUN, 0 / 1 / 1 RUS, 0 / 1 / 1 SRB, 0 / 1 / 1 GRE, 0 / 1 / 0 GEO, 0 / 0 / 1 LAT, 0 / 0 / 1 NED, 0 / 0 / 1 POR, 0 / 0 / 1 SVK, 0 / 0 / 1 SLO, 0 / 0 / 1
  16. Team Kata Final Results Men's Gold: Spain Silver: Russia Bronze: Italy & Turkey Women's Gold: Italy Silver: Spain Bronze: France & Turkey wow! Italy beat Spain in the women's final...that's what we can call "a huge" upset...
  17. of course I'm sure you're going to play RUS at the same level and with the same intensity you did play SWE earlier today (or the Czechs in the first match)...
  18. finally, RUS won...but what a scare in these last 2 minutes... p.s. @hckosice if the Russians play like in the final stretch of tonight's game, you have more than a chance to steal some points from them and keep your hopes to make the quarterfinals alive...
  19. it ain't over till it's over...the great "Yogi" Berra said many years ago... but he was right...oh, if he was right... SUI scored and we have a game once again...
  20. yeah...I just fixed my previous post... I'm starting thinking that my words are not a good sign for those who I speak/write for...
  21. probably they did... in the meantime, we have a real game between RUS and SUI... 5 mins to go and the Swiss seem to have turn the momentum around...I hope the Russians don't do anything silly... and as I write something, the class of the Big Red Machine ends the Swiss hopes... they're just amazing...
  22. however, leaving the jokes about the prediction contest apart, I didn't really expect CAN to play that bad as they're doing tonight... they're so "empty" and undisciplined like I've rarely (almost never) seen before... Finland deserve this big win at 100%...they outplayed CAN in each and every role and aspect of this game...
  23. and here we go...not even the time to write it...and Switzerland scores! I'd rather go watching some golf...maybe it's a bit more relaxing...
  24. at least it seems that RUS and SUi are going according to my plan... but with more than 9 minutes still to play, there's a lot of time to make my day a complete nightmare...
  25. are you kidding me? c'mon, man! this is a "gombloddo*" (it's a plot) against me and my predictions... I wish Germany, Belarus and Canada all the worst things in the World!!! *cit. Antonio Conte
