  6. a short resumèe... In 2014, she was arrested and charged with two misdemeanour accounts of assault, against her nephew and half-sister. The charges were eventually dropped just last month following a lengthy legal battle. Then in 2016, US Soccer suspended Solo for 6 months, as well as terminating her national team contract after she referred to the Swedish Women’s team as “a bunch of cowards” following America’s elimination from the quarter-finals of the Rio Olympics. It was thought, however, that the decision to terminate her contract stemmed from a build up of issues. The World Cup winner had also previously been suspended in 2015 after she was the passenger in a US Soccer-owned vehicle which was being driven by her husband – NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens – when he was pulled over under suspicion of driving under the influence. Solo also made an unsuccessful bid for the US Soccer Presidency last February and was not shy in letting people know how she felt about previous federation vice-president Carlos Cordeiro, in a pre-election speech. plus... https://www.politico.com/story/2018/07/02/hope-solo-soccer-in-america-is-just-a-mess-right-now-689652 https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/sep/22/hope-solo-settles-grievance-with-us-soccer
  7. yeah, back to hockey...but here http://teleticino.ch/ and then here https://www.nhl.com/tv/#schedule
  8. I know...and I don't like it that much...that's why I wrote that they should set a limit...it will make penalties even more exciting than now...
  9. by the way, it was really a great match, very, very entertaining... and I did also discover that for the first time ever the Italian speaking channel of the Swiss TV broadcasted a floorball game Live (normally it was only the German speaking channels to follow floorball in SUI)...
  10. ok, now it's really over... and once again Sweden escape the swiss problem...
  11. p.s. they should set some kind of time limit on executing a penalty...
  12. no way...Switzerland just can't handle Sweden when it comes to penalties in sports played with a stick...
  13. p.s. let's keep track of these words... especially when in a few months we get an announcement about e-sports suddenly and immediately becoming part of the core disciplines of the Olympic program...
  14. yes... Bronze Medal matches start @ 2 a.m. CET, Gold Medal matches start @ 8 a.m. CET unfortunately, there's no official/legal world streaming nor TV coverage...the only chance could be Chinese TV/online portals, which are basically impossible to follow from Europe (at least, from Italy)...
  15. the Beachwaver Maui Pro tournament ended just a few hours ago the women's WSL 2018 season... Carissa Moore (Hawai'i) won this last tournament, meanwhile Stephanie Gilmore did take the Tour Title home... out of 10 competitions, Gilmore won 3, meanwhile Moore (Hawai'i), Lakey Peterson and Courtney Conlogue won 2 each... the only non US/AUS victory went to Johanne Defay in the least important meet of the season (the Ulawatu CT in Indonesia in June)... this is a recap of the 2018 Tour events for the girls: http://www.worldsurfleague.com/events/2018/wct and this is the women's final ranking for 2018: http://www.worldsurfleague.com/athletes/tour/wct?year=2018 in the meantime, the Billabong Pipe Masters (Ohau, Hawai'i), starting in just a couple of hours, will wrap the men's WSL 2018 season up... this year's Tour Title should go to Gabriel Medina, who has a solid lead in the overall ranking (he has a 4,740 point gap over his only two challengers, Julian Wilson and Filipe Toledo. That means if he makes the Final at Pipe, he wins the World Title. If he finishes third, one of those rivals needs to win the contest to take it away from him. For any finish fifth or worse for Medina...Toledo or Wilson will still need to make the Final to claim the World Title)... by the way, this is the men's 2018 events recap (so far): http://www.worldsurfleague.com/events/2018/mct and this is the current men's ranking before the final ride: http://www.worldsurfleague.com/athletes/tour/mct?year=2018
