  2. which is normally the case... it's quite unusual to see fire weapons events held before the air weapons'...but this time it went that way... on the other side, if they went the other way round, now it would be the Korean Kim (who today won her quota place as 4th ranked) to call it an unlucky circumstance... every medal has always 2 sides...
  3. the trade deadline came...and most teams made all what they could to improve their immediate and/or their future perspective (depending on their current ranking and ambition in this season)... among the moves that hit the headlines: Mark Stone traded from Ottawa to the Vegas Golden Knights; Nashville sacrifying some young talent like Kevin Fiala to add consistency and experience with Mikael Granlund and Wayne Simmonds; San Josè adding scoring depth with Gustav Nyquist, acquired from Detroit; Winnipeg re-shuffling their lines with the newcomers Kevin Hayes (from the NY Rangers), Matt Hendricks (from Minnesota), Bogdan Kiselevich (from Florida), Alexander Broadhurst (from Columbus) and Nathan Beaulieu (from Buffalo); Colorado acquiring Derek Brassard from Florida; Calgary fixing their defence with Oscar Fantenberg from the L.A. Kings (that earlier in the season sent also Jake Muzzin to Toronto and made many other moves intended to find some space in their salary cap for the upcoming offseason)... here are all the moves made in these days from the 31 NHL teams: https://www.nhl.com/news/2018-19-nhl-trades/c-289968698?tid=278542340 and here's a quick analysis of where the teams stand right now, after the trade deadline: https://www.nhl.com/news/how-each-team-fared-at-nhl-trade-deadline/c-305243854?tid=278542340

Egypt Open 2019 (G2 tournament, Hurgada, EGY) Spain were the winners of this tournament with 3 Gold Medals... in the Medal Table they were followed by Croatia and Jordan with 2 Gold Medals each and then by a bunch of Nations with "only" 1 Gold Medal ( Austria, Belgium, Egypt, Germany, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, Serbia and Ukraine)... Full Medallists Recap here: Day #1 Day #2
  18. for sure it's not "He Got Game"... that's a movie about Basketball (the dirty world behind the college teams trying to recruit the most talented high school kids with all kind of methods, illegal ones included) and about the difficult and controversial family relationship between the main character (role played by the NBA star Ray Allen) and his father (the classic "survivor", just released from jail and already facing a lot of troubles and so on)... and another great movie directed by Spike Lee is "Inside Man" (this is more a traditional "robbery movie", but with something original that's worth the time in front of the screen, if compared to the vast majority of the movies about robberies)... I'm not a fan of Spike Lee, too...but those 2 movies are definitely the ones to watch in his filmography...
  19. even if you dislike Spike Lee as a director big time, you gotta watch "He Got Game" (I think it's already 20 years old, but still)...
  20. in fact I'm not disappointed by these results in long terms perspective... It's only about this specific unexpected bad day...
