  3. naaa. it's just my guess...I also don't know anything about it yet...
  4. yeah, becausae they are 2 different activities (actually, one is a sport...the other, well...just another "artistic" form of entertainment based on human bodies)...
  5. yeah, but it's the usual operation against the amateurs abusing of banned substances in the gym for personal reasons... it has nothing to do with "organized sports activities" (but who knows?, maybe nado Italia once again would eventually find the way to include some "famous" sportsman -a 5th degree cousin of some of the actually involved people- just for fun and publicity )...
  6. one after another...one by one... this weekend 2 more top-tier European Leagues saw their Regular Season coming to the end: the Austrian Open Championship, the socalled EBEL and the Czech Tipsport Extraliga... in Austria, once again Vienna Capitals proved themselves the best RS team with the surprising package, Graz 99ers following in second place at quite some distance... KAC Klagenfurt (3rd), AVS Fehervar (HUN, 4th...the best among the foreign guests), Red Bull Salzburg (5th), HC Bolzano Foxies (ITA, 6th, the defending champions), EHL Linz (7th) and HC Znojmo (CZE, 8th) are the remaining teams qualified to the playoffs... Playoffs that will start next Wednesday, March 13th with the quarterfinals (best-of-7 series) and these pairings: Vienna vs Znojmo; Graz vs Linz; Klagenfurt vs Bolzano/Bozen (one of the great "classics" in this league) and Fehervar vs RB Salzburg... Full Details, Results, Rankings and more...here: https://www.erstebankliga.at/ in the Czech League, instead, Bílí Tygři Liberec just edged out HC Oceláři Třinec (2nd) and HC Škoda Plzeň (3rd) in a thrilling finish... Mountfield HK (4th), HC Kometa Brno (5th) and HC Olomouc (6th) also did qualify directly to the quarterfinals (best-of-7 series), meanwhile HC Vìtkovice Ridera (7th), BK Mladà Boleslav (8th), PSG Berani Zlìn (9th) and a very disappointing Sparta Prague (10th) will have to start their playoff campaign from the preliminary round (best-of-5 series: Vìtkovice vs Sparta and Mladà Boleslav vs Zlìn the pairings), which is scheduled to begin already later today... once again, all detailed infos are available on the League's official website: https://www.hokej.cz/
  7. here there's nothing "falling into place"... it's either "doped ice" or "doped guys"..if not both (most probably)...
  8. insane...totally insane... these must be the 2 craziest days I've seen in this sport... sadly it all reminds me the 2009 swimming worlds...and beyond the obvious excitement of the moment, definitely not a good thing for the sport...
  9. no problem...to me, it wasn't even necessary, but "from above" they decided to have 2 separate threads for regular WC and GP...so, I can only follow the rules...
  10. by the way, Grand Prix events have their own thread... https://totallympics.com/index.php?/topic/1469-fencing-fie-grand-prix-2019/
  11. she's one of those kind of athletes I like to call "successful losers"... I mean, they are definitely among the top guys in their sport, but they still lack something (the ability to raise their game when it matters the most) to reach the status of "great athlete" / "true champion" and so on... and forgetting for a while any kind of objectivity, speaking as a pure fan, they are the athletes that makes me mad every time they look on the verge of getting the often deserved "big (Gold) medal" and they waste everything because they're not mentally strong enough... p.s. in Wierer's case, what makes me really angry about her, it's what she always says after this kind of fails... she doesn't even seem to care about a medal in the big championships...she's always happy...she never shows to be frustrated/mad because of (another) wasted chance... it's her attitude...she might be a fantastic woman to live with, but that's no good at all for a "top" athlete...

  20. since it's the 100th time Wierer is in this same situation, I think it's quite normal to be really, really angry... and nobody should lose motivation because they repeatedly failed...they should do something to improve and start learning to cope with pressure that "big events" give... it's not my fault if they are not mentally strong enough to win global medals...

  23. and once again, when it really matters, the Italians flop and flop and flop... what a bunch of losers!
  24. don't tell me... and what you see right now it's a good restyling and a significative price drop if compared just to last week (the yearly fee used to be 120 US $, the monthly fee used to be 22 US $/month)... basically they're trying to get me back with them at all costs...but they won't have me until the new college football season starts in September...
