  2. awful results for Italy...probably the worst tournament in the last couple of years... and Crescenzo lost again against a Kazakh guy...and not the usual ones, today he was beaten by their 3rd tier guy! give us a psychologist...but a really good one...

  5. and after scoring our first goal of the tournament , we stopped playing once again...final score, 7-1 for the Scandinavians... by the way, the record for the world champs played with this format is now shared by ITA and AUT (and we're gonna play ewach other on Monday...those who like Cabbala are already all wet ) with 1 goal in the entire tournament...AUT had that wonderful performance in 2011...and it's definitive, they can't improve that anymore
  6. Men's Individual Epee (Paris, FRA) Final Results Gold: Park Sang Young Silver: Nikita Glazkov Bronze: Gergely Siklosi & Mate Tamas Koch Semifinals: Park b. Siklosi 15-13 Glazkov b. Koch 15-10 Gold Medal Match: Park b. Glazkov 15-13 Here is the Full Final Ranking (and Results) from Today's competition: https://fie.org/competitions/2019/111/results/rank
  7. here I am...the tournament has just finished, so I'm gonna post the final results in a few minutes... I can tell you that Tristan Tulen had another good day, even if not as good as in Cali...he lost 11-10 to the Russian Glazkov in the round of #16...
  8. after a promising GP result in Cali, back to the usual disaster for Italy in the Epee competitions... no girls in the top 8 in Dubai and also no men in the top 8 in Paris (that tournament is still running, with the round of 16 still to be completed, but all of our guys are already out)...
  9. Women's Individual Epee (Dubai, UAE) Final Results Gold: Choi In Jeong Silver: Courtney Hurley Bronze: Violetta Kolobova & Vivian Kong Man Wai Semifinals: Hurley b. Kolobova 15-14 Choi b. Kong 15-6 Gold Medal Match: Choi b. Hurley 15-11 Here is the Full Final Ranking (and Results) from Today's competition: https://fie.org/competitions/2019/451/results/rank
  10. yes, now they can start a team in the Trap mixed team competition...
  11. I told you...this is not our place... but still, this is not even a team (and in the past it was not like that)... however, I wouldn't bet against a 0-0 and a win in the shootout against AUT in the last match...aka ITA has a not so remote chance to keep themselves in the top division without scoring a single goal in the entire championship (I guess they won't score a goal also against NOR, as I'm pretty sure they're already thinking only about the game vs AUT)... should this happen, it would be a massive scandal and the evidence for IIHF that they have to chage format and get back to 12 teams as soon as possible (actually, they should do it even if ITA and GBR go down...it's not that this is a factor to determine if the 16-team format is competitive enough...it's already well clear that it isn't at all)...
  12. and we must say that...shame! shame! shame! on WTF and that referee... Walkden's Gold is a pure robbery...
  13. she lost the Korean internal selection...but unfortunately for KOR, her "substitute" didn't even get a medal...
  14. finally! Italy win a team event exciting ending of the Gold Medal match...it looked all over with just 7/8 targets for each shooter still to go, but the US pair lost their focus and made too many mistakes in the last few shots and allowed Italy to tied the match...then in the shoot-off the first mistake by Ashley Carroll gave Italy the chance to close it down...and Daniele Resca didn't miss his shot: Italy win!
  15. 2019 World Cup, Stage #5 (Changwon, KOR) Mixed Team Trap Gold: Italy (Silvana Stanco & Daniele Resca) Silver: USA (Ashley Carroll & Derek Haldeman) Bronze: Chinese Taipei (Lin Yi Chun & Yang Kun-Pi)
  16. that's not a doping case... as I already explained many times, it's a farce mixed with a plot mixed with pure Italian style political messages and many other things...but nothing that has to do with sport and doping, in any case... the true criminals are those of NADO Italia...they're just a waste of our money (as they're a public institution)...
  17. 2019 World Cup, Stage #5 (Changwon, KOR) Men's Trap Gold: Andreas Makri Silver: Matthew John Coward-Holley Bronze: James Willett Olympic Quota: Cyprus, Great Britain
  18. and we have a shoot-off between Coward-Holley and Makri to decide the Gold Medal... and finally Cyprus take the Gold
  19. Matthew John Coward-Holley and Andreas Makri earned today's Olympic Quota in Men's Trap
  20. yes, all unlikely scenarios...Draisaitl's goal just killed an entire Nation, I fear... it's a real pity that after such an amzing start, SVK just lost their minds...because I'm pretty sure that losing games like they did vs CAN and above all GER it's only a matter of mental issues...

  23. they're so "unstable" that they won the last world champs in a row and their worst result ever (since 1938) is a 7th place (and they were so low in the final standings only once, in 2000)... and before 1938, they finished outside the top 6 only once (10th in 1937)... that's how bad they have been in the whole history... and do you really think this year they should fail to make the top 8? c'mon, man!
  24. OMG!!! this is heartbreaking... Leon Draisaitl just showed why he's a superstar in the NHL...and Germany scored the go-ahead goal with only 27 seconds left on the clock...
