  1. People in Brazil barely even know who Pepe and Deco are. Honestly. I mean that 90% of Brazilians who move to Portugal are very, very, very despicable persons. They are usually people who voted for Bolsonaro and did everything they could to avoid paying taxes in Brazil (their motto is usually "Taxation is theft. Evading this theft is not a crime.") Most of them also feel like they are superior and they deserve to live in a place where their superiority is recognized (and, amusingly, from what I've heard, they are seen as inferior and they are made fun of by most Portuguese people). I remember one of these persons moved to Portugal and she was offended because she could not afford paying for a housemaid, while most middle-class people in Brazil can afford one because it's usually a heavily underpaid job in Brazil, but not in Portugal.
  2. LOL, he is a legend. Portugal deserves respect because you guys are getting the absolutely worst Brazilians, the most despicable persons who lived here in Brazil and have now moved to Portugal. But I have nothing against the team per se. I just want Ronaldo not to have a world title for the same reason I don't want Neymar to have one.
  3. That is the point. A few years ago, the World Cup was a better competition because of them, but now most people just wish they remain benched the entire match so we don't have to stomach them.
  4. Nice. I'm not that optimistic, and to be honest I don't want Neymar to have a world title, but I appreciate the support. The teams I support besides Brazil, Japan and Senegal, have been eliminated, so I don't really care who wins anymore. I'd love to see a new winning team, though (except for Portugal).
  5. Tolong dukung Brasil. I hope I didn't butched this and that this is a language you speak.
  6. Not a fan of this Croatian team. I will be super stoked if Brazi hopefully eliminates them in the next round. Or South Korea, whatever.
  7. Ok, now it's over for Japan. Really sad about them.
  8. This seems to be better than the "3 countries per group" nonsense, but the World Cup is already too long as it is now, so what good could a 48-team tournament do? There's only one trophy, so there's no reason to drag the competition week after week as if, say, Finland had a chance to win the whole thing.
  9. Brazil finished first in the group and there's a much easier path to the final now. In theory, South Korea, Japan, the Netherlands and even Argentina should not be much of a problem for our main team. I don't think Brazil could win the World Cup, because Spain, France and Portugal seem to be in a better position to win, but making it to semifinals should be a lot easier now. If they fail it's because they suck, not because they had a particularly hard path ahead of them.
  10. Brazil and France took it personal. Each nation wants to prove which team has the worst reserve players in the World Cup.
  11. LOL, Brazil is trying hard here to face Spain.
  12. I think it's because Suarez is a douchebag, but I don't hate him because of the hand thing. I would have done the same. Ghana had the chance for a penalty and missed it. Not his problem.
  13. This is not related to football at all, but... My first international trip was to Uruguay and then to Argentina. I had to go back to Uruguay to take a flight back to Brazil. People warned me about Argentina, that I should not trust anybody and that people could be aggressive towards me. I was told I should have a great time in Uruguay and should not worry in the slightest. In the end, I had a great time in Argentina and loved every bit of the trip... Well, except when I almost got stuck in the cemetery where Evita Peron was buried, since I got lost and was alone when it was closing time to visitors, but I digress. It was funny when I got out. LOL. Then, in Uruguay, I took a cab to the airport with all my luggage and then the driver told me to exit the cab so he would help me with the luggage, but he sped and stole everything I had. I literally had to come back to Brazil with only the clothes I was wearing. Of course this could very well be just a bad experience and should not be representative of Uruguayans, but this is something I remembered when you mentioned Uruguayan players showing their class.
  14. South Korea deserves to win this match. They are playing very well while Portugal is somewhat cautious. But Uruguay is also doing very well. Wish both could qualify in this group, but of course this is impossible.
  15. This makes things a lot more interesting now.
  16. Wait, does this mean there's a chance Brazil will face Japan instead of Spain?
  17. The Brazilian commentators of the MEX x KSA match have made two mentions to El Chavo del Ocho now. It's hugely popular in Brazil.
  18. The Saudis look nothing like they did against Argentina, or even against Poland. Their mind game is completely off and they easily surrendered to Mexico.
  19. It took literally one minute after I mentioned Mexico cursed for them to score a goal. Well, here it goes: Poland is cursed, Poland is cursed, Poland is cursed.
  20. I had a rough night and took a nap before the match. It looks like I didn't lose much. No goals yet. Quite shocking, especially for Mexico. They are cursed this year.
  21. Too bad. For the first time in my life I rooted for Iran. Wish they could have advanced.
