  1. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
  2. I'm kinda excited for Lima, despite it's dullness.
  3. Biased of course, but thought Rio was HUGE step down from London... I thought "Oh, at least Tokyo will be good" Having doubts now...

  5. I watched the British Prelims called Eurovision: You Decide. All choices but one were shit. The best one, which was still 'meh', did not win. The judges were irritating. The Guardian's commentary was funny enough for me to not want to kill myself during it. They filled in the voting time by re-airing Love Love Peace Peace for some reason, and also showing a five minute video asking 'Why is Australia in Eurovision?' despite the answer just being SBS is in the EBU. Overall, not optimistic about our chances, especially when taking to account the political climate, lol.
  6. Incompetence in an OCOG? Oh my God! I'm shocked!
  7. Okay lads from Lithuania and Poland, Discovery have done their sub-licensing thing to TV3 (LTU) and TVP (POL) That's nice. Will Eurosport be able to execute their goal of not having exclusive rights anywhere? We'll find out...
  8. In Lithuania, Discovery Communications sub-license to TV3. In Poland, Discovery Communications sub-license to TVP. lol
  9. NUIG have just beaten Mayo! Holy shit!
  10. The BDO is on C4/BT Sport this year, not BBC FFS
  11. Upon reading this forum, I have changed my mind. Surfing etc. may be shit, but nothing can beat the sheer arduousness of dressage.
  12. Three and a half years to go! Until we know who Trump's replacement is Who's excited for Tokyo?
  13. You are right, I was half-joking. I quite like modern pentathlon though. Maybe someone will watch it. The least-viewed event will be something in sport climbing probably.
  14. No-one is, let's be honest. Good luck for TV channels in European countries that don't care to find commentators in their language, just some random guy that skates in the park probably. But no-one will watch it so it will be fine.
  15. Yeah, we're going to have to get the thread underway aren't we For handball, 2018 European qualification has started which leads to World which qualified one place 2020 European qualification has started which qualifies one place Based on 2016
  16. In Estonia, Discovery Communications have sub-licensed to Eesti Meedia, so their goal for having no exclusive rights anywhere continues.
  17. For any Estonians here, Eesti Meedia has sub-licensed from Eurosport. Great.
  18. Handball qualification has started (probably, we don't really know for sure). Football and Basketball will start during 2017. Hopefully they will release the procedures soon, and we will know how to get to Tokyo 2020 (the answer is: by plane).
  19. At least your cousin Brad from the 1990s is going to watch it because it is 'tubular'. For fucks sake. Skateboarding. You know I was joking about adding Gaelic football but that probably has more of a scope. As well as cricket, rugby league, like, more people probably watch e-Sports than skateboarding.
  20. Or fucking women's skateboarding.
  21. Oh, in my naïveté I just assumed it was more events. If they want to get rid of existing events, let's just make every event gender-neutral. See how many women qualify then. Equality comes in many forms This reminds me of the character 'Millie Tant' from Viz Comic. http://viz.co.uk/millie-tant-2/ NSFW But the problem is that stuff like 'mixed relays' don't make sense, it's like if the point of the Olympics is to determine who the best is, what does this determine that the proper relays don't? Waste of time.
  22. The more events the better right? If you don't like it don't watch
  23. ENGLAND IN 2016: PLAYED 13 WON 13 9-15 9-40 21-10 25-21 21-31 27-13 28-39 7-23 40-44 37-21 58-15 27-14 37-21 Unbeaten and unbeatable.
  24. Cheers lads. Maybe for Football the SFA, FAW, and IFA can stop scratching their arse and actually bother to make a British team
