  3. Well, this is weird. FEI changed the qualification system (again), and looks like there will be two Group C jumping qualifiers with nations choosing at which one they will participate (Budapest or Moscow). That is just about the stupidest qualification path ever. One venue may end up with 10 teams and the other may get 2 or something! And I'm afraid that is exactly what's going to happen if nations choose to go to a more practical location. Budapest may end up getting stacked with Israel, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia... While in Moscow it may quite possibly be Russia vs Belarus (vs Kyrgyzstan?)...
  4. It's just FIBA being greedy. They say that 3x3 brings "diversity" or whatever, but then they settle for 8-team tournament. Anything less than 12 teams is senseless by default, I'd rather not have it held at all.
  5. This is getting annoying. When I go for "add similar event", the old logo copies and is present in the "choose files" section. And when I remove the old logo from new event, it also gets removed from the old event.

  13. I guess are next? @heywoodu You will need a Turkish name. How does Ahmet Ahşap sound? If I'm not mistaken, you will also need an Azeri wife.
  14. I suspect she might improve this season. She just transferred to Wellington, Florida in an attempt to become something more than an amateur rider.

  16. Two 30+ Bibs made top 10 in Madonna (Istok and Razzolli), and only one today (Istok). Sport is not ugly because of that. After all, they are Olympic (!!) and World junior champions. And slalom has been like that since forever. Meillard, Schmidiger, Rochat, Simonet all made top 10 last season with 30+ Bibs. Hirscher achieved his first podium with 30+ Bib. Kammerlander making second run is just nonsense... He simply does not have a technique of a World class racer.
  17. How can an event with a rich history suddenly become so ugly, basically overnight? And based on what do you think Lizeraux could win a race? Hirscher, Pinturault, Feller is hardly a surprising or random podium, just like any other podium from this season. And for the record, about 7/9 DNFers had slower splits (or slower 1st run) than Istok. So, yes, this top 10 does mean a thing.
  18. Ok, I got my hopes up when Istok almost made 2nd run at Saalbach's chopped up course with Bib 65 or something. But damn... I never imagined he could possibly get a pair of 7th places immediately after. So for the next race we'll have two in top 30. Unreal.
  19. Elias 15th Istok 17th Mado 24th And I'm not even surprised. They are dominating EC these days.
