    Great results in the heats this morning. Hopefully two more medals on the way tonight, but the relay will be tight.

    I don't see anywhere to post about the Women's WC, so I'll do it here. With Nigeria's surprising win over Australia, Canada must beat the home Ozzies in order to advance to the next round. It'll be tough, but doable. Correction: A tie also gets them a trip to the next round. Also works if both Nigeria and Canada lose, but Nigeria loses by more.

    McNeill more than a second slower in the semis. Guess his morning swim took it out of him.

    Well, I'll be on a plane tomorrow during the finals, I'll try to nap.

    So far, 4 x 4th, 3 x 1st+2nd+3rd. And that's just in swimming, it's actually worse in the whole competition!

    I fully expect that to happen. Unfortunately, I don't expect much from Liendo the rest of the meet. Good to watch Kharun get experience at least.

    Despite their best efforts Canada comes in 6th instead of 4th. Oh well, can't barely lose them all.

    I'll believe it when I see it. Lots of potential, very little results for Canada historically. I'm not bashing Kharun here either, he did a PB after all. Just tough to always get 4th. 3 x 4th, 2 x medals here so far for Canada, btw.

    His time from this morning would have easily qualified him for the final. I don't think we'll see him on the podium at all here, he's looked not so great.

    Liendo does not look good this meet. Much slower in the semis than the heats. His heats time would have easily qualified him for the final. I don't think we'll see him on the podium here in any event, which is so frustrating because the door is open.
