  1. Ok, calm down there Pouch. You won a semifinal, not even the fastest overall. Ugh, Americans.
  2. My god, another 4th for Masse. I can't take it for her.
  3. Angus and MSH both miss the semis. MSH really does not look good, which is sad for the 800m relay.
  4. Line up for the 200m women's relay: Jansen -> Angove -> Cosgrove -> Douthwright Also just realised there's only one heat with ten teams this morning.
  5. Huh, I really thought Kharun was going to have a breakout dominating performance here. Not great so far. Half a second slower in the final than the heat (would have been on the podium with his heat time). But good results elsewhere, especially the relay! Woot!
  6. Katelyn Fung qualifies for the semis in the Women's 10m diving in 12th. Her scores on her last dive show she can get into the finals.
  7. Breaking down the splits on that relay: Wilm: 59.34 Excellent, but Masse can improve on that. Dawson: 59.97 Wow! Great performance! I'm not sure they put Knox in given his injury and his performance in the 200 IM. Or maybe he was saving himself. While a great time, it will need to go down a bit to challenge for the podium. Liendo: 49.85 That's faster than anyone in Paris in this relay (and 3rd fastest in any relay - and both those guys are out of this one). Douthwright: 54.31 Serviceable for the heats, but will need improvement here. Sucks that Penny isn't here. Ruck? MSH? With USA, France, and UK all out of the final, Canada has a real shot at a medal here. US and France finished ahead of Canada in Paris, where they placed 5th (UK just behind). China and Italy, and of course Australia, will be challengers, too.
  8. Canada moves on in the mixed relay. They beat the US, who are out!
  9. Summer just gave me a heart attack. There was a slower swimmer up in lane 0 who hadn't finished the race yet, and Summer left her lane to get out of the pool before she was done. I'm not sure of the rules, but I'm pretty sure I've seen DQs for leaving your lane before everyone finishes before. But all is fine, official results are in and Summer is safe.
  10. Knox did not look good in the 200IM, misses the semis in 18th. On the flip side, Jankovics does move on.
  11. Masse and Wilm into the 50m back semis in 1st and 8th.
  12. What happened to MSH in the 200? Almost a second slower than her heats time.
  13. Kharun comfortably into the semis in the 200m butterfly in 3rd.
  14. MSH and Jansen move on to the semis for the 200m free. Jasmin and Palkhivala miss the final in the 3m synchro by 6 and a half points.
  15. Canada is 2nd on the swimming table after Day 2, 1st in individual medals.
  16. Molly misses her last dive to finish off the podium, but Simone snags silver instead.
