Well, they can hire me. My Spanish is a bit rough, but I'll give it a go. My commentary will mostly be about Taco Bell and Bart Simpson catch phrases, though.

Ok, great gold! I actually think they were underscored on that final dive. It was near perfection on execution and synchronization. But whatever, doesn't matter.

Quite the final round. Congrats to Restrepo! Gagne was underscored on that last dive, but it wouldn't have made a difference.

By my calculations, Gagne needs 8's (one 7.5 is fine) on the dive to get gold. Depending on what Restrepo does. Edit: No, he needs an 8.5 in there.

Glad Gagne is still in 1st, but he's going to have to do much better to stay there. Still anyone in the top 7's gold.

As I said last night, they should play Canadian songs after the Canadians as they are with the Americans (heard "Born in the USA" earlier, for example). The only Canadian song they played was Informer by Snow, but it was after the Dominican guy. They did play Call Me Maybe at the baseball field, though. Cheering for Knight-Wisdom, and Gagne of course.

I'm quite uninterested in the rest of this discussion, but regarding diving Canada didn't send anyone to compete in the 1m because it is not an Olympic event. So far in Olympic events, CAN and MEX have each won 2 golds, while CAN has won 5 medals to MEX's 4. I'm not saying this to prove Canada is superior and I'm not trying to be needlessly nitpicky. I'm just saying, in events that both countries take seriously, they are pretty evenly matched. Watching diving has been a treat!
