  1. I never thought the Czechs and the Danes would have a rivalry in any wintersport but it is ON. You're going down!
  2. One Tajikistani got a 236 so possible. Also Afghans are back, but no result better than 330. Doubt it’ll happen this time.
  3. Many races say that and then turn to YES. I hope that is the case this time too..
  4. Ah. You’re right! Makes sense now. That’s very good then! The winners of those races tend to get 300-350 points in other races. So I hope Manikala can maybe get 220-250 in those two races.
  5. I hope both can happen. But yeah. You never know. We’ll confirm if Iran is viable. Travel and visa costs are also a factor. Oh um Bogota winner was like 220 points. Still ok?
  6. Apparently Iran might be moved to another date. If that happens she can do both. If not I guess we’ll see how likely Iran can be run successfully- the points do look very attractive, and she’ll be doing many Balkan races anyway. So far she’s just done Scandinavia/ Western Europe. Thanks everyone!
  7. I guess we can check with the organizing committee and see how many have/will have signed up. Does the 150 FIS point rule only apply to distance races? The winner in Tehran had over 350.
  8. Ok so Lebanon’s out and Armenia’s in That won’t clash with anything. Now Turkey and Iran. The thing is she can’t make the Christmas races in Turkey because her manager is busy at Christmas and no one else can take her there. So then there’s 2 races in Turkey and 2 in Iran at the same time. She could possibly do 3 in Turkey but it would be rough timing. So would you say Iran just because of the points? Last year only 6 women showed up, so it’s a bit risky in terms of numbers.
  9. All the others are two races by the way she could do.
  10. Right now we’re torn. First between Iran and Turkey. Then between Armenia and Lebanon. I was thinking Turkey because she could (with some planning) have 3 attempts on the same track in Erzurum, and Armenia since Lebanon might be risky. They’ve never hosted before and they’d need 5 women on the start line. Though I imagine the points would be amazing.. Any thoughts?
  11. They need to organize another one lmao I wonder what happened to the 2 2.5 Races.
  12. Does anyone know of some locations/races where there is likely to be really good FIS points in cross-country? (I’ve been talking to the Nepalese athlete). I know next to nothing about how FIS points are calculated unfortunately.
  13. I mean to be honest Germans have words for everything
  14. I’m not too sure what to think of him. But I know the Russians were quite desperate to win in that season. So I wouldn’t necessarily put it past them. Surely some of the proof can be established 100%?
  15. Do you think the IOC will take his word?
  16. Absolutely despicable. Knowing this, it’s far more likely they’ll be banned, I think.
  17. What a legend! We need to get in contact and invite him to Totallympics.
  18. I always love how Czech/Slovak names sound so silly in English Kateřina Smutná...
  19. Haha. I would like to see Zvaricova back though. She was such a talent but got hit by a car, and has been trying to get into the A team since..
