  17. We're about to kick off the second day of action at TISC Special
  18. Mental notes being stored Just kidding, but actually Gavin James has been very close to being picked a couple of times and is considered for the Annual most years.
  19. I agree with a lot of what you say. I also don't think that a nation should have to live up to a stereotype of what is considered an accurate cultural representation of that country. If that was the case I would have to show what is considered traditional Irish music as my entry every year. And for me personally, although I do really like that music as well, I want to be able to show any type of song I enjoy. Each nation doesn't have to live up to what is considered an identity. If we like a song we should be proud to show it, whether it's traditional style, English language, native language, old, new, famous or obscure. And if people don't like the song we send then fine, but people shouldn't feel guilty about any song they send. It's their personal choice and we all like different things. For me it's a very good thing that we have all different styles and approaches.

  21. Just a reminder to everyone that Japan Day is on this Friday, 24th July and I really encourage and beg you all to contribute anything and everything you can to celebrate Japan on that day. I stress the word beg as I would be afraid that Japan Day will go unmarked otherwise
  22. Yeah, just a typo in the opening post. Tomorrow it's Groups D, E and F. The 3rd post in the thread has the best and most reliable schedule. There's also a link to the complete schedule in that first post.
  23. @dcro did you pick up any of the judging comments from that Burundi v South Korea match? What went wrong for South Korea?
