    China announced withdrawal from all Thailand stages on January even though athletes showing strong willingness to attend and bought air tickets already. Chinese official at last minute still decided to restrict national team going abroad due to the pandemic concerns.

    When CAS announced the 8-year suspension last time, the tone of Chinese official seemed to abandon him. But when the hope re-flames this time, officials seem to choose back him. On the other hand, his current competitiveness is a big question mark as he left NT and his provincial team for a long time.

    If it proves true, it's a total win for Sun Yang. He will retire after Tokyo Olympic anyway.

The whole story China report is that Sun’s lawyer argued that one of the judge of CAS had some racist speeches of Chinese thus he is not neutral enough to be the judge. And Swiss court agreed with this procedural error and ordered CAS to hear this case again.

    Chinese media also reported that the case back to CAS not free him from suspension. The reason is that a judge from CAS is racist and it is a procedual error. But during this period if he is allowed to compete in FINA events remain unclear. Anyone please share infomoation.

    A lot of winter sports are competing and many summer Olympic sports events like badminton are expcting to resume soon. Athletes are counting on these to collect points for Olympic quotas. Is there gonna be a general vaccination plan for athletes helping them international traveling? IOC should do something.

    China gave up all international sport event due to the pandemic concerns and strict quarantine requirements. I am very worried for Chinese athletes too. Not only China gave up hosting but also restrict athletes participating foreign events. Chinese athletes missed a lots of winter sports stages already.

    I expressed my meaning clear enough and we yet not in the same dimension. We don't have to convince each other. We just need to have faith in WADA, that's the bottom line for athletes and sports fans. We obey the rules of WADA and receive punishments from WADA or CAS. That's enough. Like what I said rules are rules.

    Actually you know little inside Tibet. You just know it from western media and exiled Tibetan. But you still don't know the real Tibet. I know it's hard for foreigners getting into Tibet so I can't blame anyone. To be more practical, you may expect you can visit Tibet freely someday and then make your judgement. I think it will come soon because I know the situation in Tibet in very stable right now.

    You don't have to quote these continuously. I know Ye shiwen's performance in 2012 is 4:28'43 and I know Hosszu's performance in 2016 is 4:26'36.

    Very likely happen if you persist protesting in front of China embassy in your country. Success belongs to the persevering. Come on.

    Ye shiwen's performance has surpassed by Hosszu for many times. What's the point of obsessed with the conspiracy? If we judge athletes by tabloids then why we should sponsor WADA any longer?

    Only when USA promise to double the membership fee and pay them in time.

    Feeling sad for those innocent Russian athletes. To punish and humiliate those innocent athletes just because of their nationality doesn't make sense to me and it's a political intervention under a lawful and beautifully make-up way which those judges are good at. Well, rules are rules. Losers obey it, winners create it and Russian athletes have to live with it.

    Good for Riyadh. We would watch lots of female sports first ever host in Saudi Arabia. Good for Saudi's female sports and athletes.

    Glad to see Faroe Islands able to compete in World Championships level but still far from joining Olympics. Good luck to them and China also promote Macau joining Olympics.

    Team China wanted these two remaining quotas very much. As the Asian qualifier originally scheduled in Chongqing, China but rescheduled to Japan due to the pandemic and surprisingly rescheduled back to China again as Japan gave it up afterwards. There were a few Chinese national climbing events preparing for the Olympic qualifier this year and I am sure other asian climbers must also train very hard for this. Very sad, everything is unpredictable during the ongoing pandemic, not just Climbing or Olympics.

    My only hope is that World Championships will not be canceled.

    I heard the same news. In this scenario, both man and woman quota will go to South Korea.

    For sure we started talking about it before 20th, because several cases identified every now and then. But the tone at that time is still all cases linked to the seafood market and no proof of human-to-human infectious YET. That YET ended at Jan 20th and the whole country got very nervous in a sudden.

    I heard local news reporting unspecified pneumonia several times in December 2019, but in a very normal and chilling tone. No one took it seriously. Until Jan. 20th a high level specialist told public that it's infectious on state media, then things went very bad all of a sudden and Wuhan lockdown from 24or25th January.
