  1. Omg, that remake was sooooo good. I believe the remake for RE3 is coming out this week or somewhat soon? As for Animal Crossing, it's amazing that the developers create an opportunity to be in crippling debt not only in the real world, but in a cute island-y paradise one as well
  2. JAPAN Nai Br.XX & Celeina Ann "Message In The Wind" This song is from an animated Japanese TV show "Carole & Tuesday" (also out on Netflix) created by one of the most famous studios in the industry Bones. The show is set years in future where humanity has colonised Mars and the music industry has transformed in which artificial intelligence is writing the songs and not the singers themselves. The story follows two girls that meet each other randomly and focuses on their journey in the music world, writing their own music. Recording studios, talent shows, video clip filming and all that good stuff, as an artist myself, I can say that I was really satisfied with the show's take on our industry (although some of the things are a bit outdated, it is still a good watch). Every episode showcases 1 or more songs and there were actually moments when I thought that I was watching a masterpiece. And yeah, this song carried me away from the very first listen. Just going to add that the show released two full albums of music on Spotify when it was airing.
  3. In the entertainment industry Concerts and tours, private shows, TV, backing vocals, song-writing & recording All of that is literally gone for an uncertain amount of time. I can only continue writing songs that I won't be recording in the nearest future.
  4. Welcome to the club I'm already losing all of my work in June as well and rumours are spreading that I won't be working on July/August as well if this whole thing doesn't blow off in April, early May. So that would be a half a year of unemployment just because of some dumb virus
  5. Yes, because spending all of our time in despair is definitely the better option
  6. Then someone would have to be family On a serious note, this was actually a notice accepted yesterday with quarantine extended till April 13th
  7. Two, so threesomes are already out of the question
  8. GREAT BRITAIN Since the UK rarely features those artists that I really love from that country, this was a wonderful opportunity to give spotlight to one of them. Bruno Major has a very soulful voice and is a very talented lyricist and I just can't get enough of his music.
  9. UK was the place to go for everyone for many many years and those who didn't get into UK decided to move to Ireland. That first bunch was a huge percentage of low-lifes, criminals, people with zero education that just left to work shit jobs for better money than they would have gotten back here. Now a lot of us go to Germany and some to Denmark. And the hottest new country for our dreams is Norway. The fact is that Lithuania became quite a safer country without those people around and it's a huge reason why everybody here was nervous about Brexit and them being flung back at us. And I'm not saying that everybody that left were bad people, because I have a lot of amazing friends that are living in UK and Denmark, whilst half of my family is in Germany, but the fact is that majority of those that went away didn't even bother to finish school and such.
  10. The saddest thing that this virus caused is that our immigrants started fleeing back to Lithuania. In the hotel that they are all quarantined in, one man already stabbed another man repeatedly during a fight. We didn't want that part of Lithuania back,
  11. I never said I myself did it and I think that Electric Avenue was probably the only of the three that got points from me.
  12. I believe it was already the third contest with music from Eddy Grant, so perhaps some users didn't greet it as openly as they did with the first entry?
  13. When was it ever fun to be normal? Be exceptional, strive for greatness, vote at 4 A.M. like all of us bat people
  14. Hmmm, for Lithuania perhaps Edis Matusevičius (javelin throw) if he throws something close to 90m again. Don't see that many other athletes in our court that would benefit from only a year.
  15. I would like to visit your country. Here it seems that everyone is walking directly into me and I'm one of the very few that is playing the dodging game. Just today someone brushed off my back three freaking times, because they couldn't put in the extra second of effort to walk around me.
  16. Thank you for the warning, I will not be setting any alarms on the day then.
  17. I'll have to set an alarm for the start of the show just in case
  18. How dare you call 8:30 a reasonable hour during this quarantine situation that we're in?
  19. Oh gosh, I am extremely meticulous when picking what I'll watch. It might sound a bit pretentious, but so far I haven't seen that many bad shows, because I'm at that point of my life where I know what I'll like. I only had to drop two shows, one had decent animation, but no substance in the story, one had better storytelling, but zero animation
  20. Yup, the label 'kids' shows and the collocation of animation being for kids is definitely one of the reasons why a lot of people don't give such shows or anime a try. Legend of Korra is most definitely not a kids show and the reason why it was that good is as you said, good source material to go off as well as the creators growing together with the audience that grew up watching Aang & gang. Korra is somewhat a coming-of-age story while battling with a lot of struggles and also emphasising the point that the biggest enemy that we face is usually ourselves. And it also perfectly shows that most battles are not physical, but mental. I could probably flood this thread talking about Avatar and many other shows that I've watched I can't even begin to explain how much I love the animation medium, to the extent where I can say that I often get pissed off when I try to watch a serious Netflix show, because their writing, world building and character development is usually appaling compared to Japanese animation. All of my favourite psychological/mystery/crime shows come from that medium and I gave a lot of "real-life" shows a chance already to often see myself disappointed
  21. While Netflix is probably swimming in all of that sweet streaming money, I'm somewhat completely ignoring them since the winter season (after I watched the Witcher of course ) and devoting myself to Anime that have a lot of episodes, because it was always too difficult to commit myself to them when I had less time. So watching a lot of classics that I've had my eyes on for a couple of years and I'm enjoying the journey that life threw at me even if I get sad every time I look out the window to see empty streets.
