    Okay, manly grown adult man. I'm not a fan of people being looked down based on their previous work. It's the same as hating on Harry Styles and Niall Horan just because they sang in One Direction, although both are pumping out very very respectable albums. I'm the furthest away possible from being a fan of let's say Justin Bieber, but he actually had hits in 2015.

    Wow, okay, my mind is blown I did not know this. Even looked him up on Spotify a month ago, saw that he doesn't have many plays on this song and thought that life is very unfair to some very talented musicians. It's actually awesome that so many years apart his music still manages to impress me that much

    I feel bad for Shawn Mendes, all the boy has ever wanted starting from his Vine days was a TISC victory and he would be mighty upset at this huge amount of people cheering against him.

    My analytical brain is looking at this and seeing 5/6 countries here that I voted for or was on my reserve list. And I gave a 12 to Canada.

    I'd actually expect @hckosice to go for something like China rather than Canada. The only thing that we can set to rest is that the winning country will start with C.

    Can I jump in into this conversation and say that this is probably my favourite entry from Malta and @Glen Or at least very close to the 2015 Annual in which I awarded 11 points to "Young Again"

    I don't know if you were with us by then already, but this is actually the second time Tiago Iorc appears in TISC. He debuted with "Nothing But A Song" and collected 12 points from me

    You take that back. His 2018 album is actually pretty solid. Not liking his 2019/20 direction so far, but you can't deny he is a very talented artist and producer.

    I know that Ireland only got 10 from me this year, but I think it's my 2nd favourite Irish entry probably. The margin from 12 points though was less than a pinch, the competition was fierce. It was definitely strong enough to get my twelve in some other years.

    HOT TAKE: Ireland actually sends their best songs when they don't actually win the competition. The song from this year and "My Love Took Me Down To The River To Silence Me years ago, are up there for me with Zombie and in their own league comparing to the other three Irish victories.
