  1. Olympic Standings (After Day 1) Men's RS:X - 73 - 77 Women's RS:X - 89 - 135 Should New Zealand get the quotas it will be very likely they will decline them unless they improve a lot.
  2. Not yet. Looking at the rankings they are most likely to go with men's -58kg, men's -80kg, women's -49kg and women's -57kg. Only the men's -68kg has an athlete with a ranking, the other three weight classes do not.
  3. The first semi-finals have been decided, winners will qualify to the Olympics (there's no 3rd place bouts for these events). The others will be decided tomorrow. Women's Featherweight vs. vs. Women's Welterweight vs. vs. Women's Middleweight vs. vs.
  4. One week following the Closing Ceremony of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the CGF shall issue a medal table that includes results from the Chandigarh 2022 Commonwealth Archery and Shooting Championships, as a further and final legitimate ranking of competing nations and territories from the respective competitions. So the "final official" rankings will essentially be forgotten by the general public. I guess India gets to feel good about their extra medals? Seems like a bit of a slap in the face to all parties.
  5. qualified in taekwondo. We are down to 60 nations!
  6. Semi-finals Men's -68kg vs. vs. Men's -80kg vs. vs. Women's -57kg vs. vs. Women's +67kg vs. vs. Mali with an opportunity to qualify their first athlete
  7. It looks like we'll have to look around facebook and twitter pages to find the results ...
  8. Been looking all day with no luck, hopefully they are out early tomorrow.
  9. Interestingly enough China is leading all nations in terms of hosting different OQT (ignoring events that span multiple nations). They have currently hosted 11 events while Australia and Japan have hosted 10 each. Due to the coronavirus they will be overtaken. Plus Australia has all of those continental qualification events to look forward to with even less competition. Not too surprising, there's not as much competition in Asia to host events while China really wants to host events.
  10. Also it's not entirely for sure Pita will qualify, Papua New Guinea is relatively decent in this sport and Pita has a bit of an injury.
  11. Looks like we are guaranteed at least one nation without quotas will qualify through this tournament.
  12. Took a look at the world rankings for these athletes. For the men Ali Alkhadrawi (rank: 164) leads all athletes at with Mohammed Abdulwahhab (rank: 260), Abdulaziz Bu Shulaybi (rank: 266) and Zaid Abo Yaman (rank: 320) being in the top 400. For the women, only 4/11 players have a world ranking. Mariana Sahakian (rank: 372) leads all athletes with the next highest ranked player being Baa Al-Wedian (rank: 475). Should she succeed, this would be Sahakian's second Olympics. Of course with rankings this low (due to lack of activity) anything could happen.
  13. Entry List For the men, 5 groups (4 athletes each) will play a round robin with the top two advancing to a single elimination tournament For the women, 3 groups (4 athletes in two, 3 athletes in one) will play a round robin with the top two advancing to a single elimination tournament.
  14. Someone must have clicked the flag above Gabon's?
  15. Event is being shown on the Olympic Channel
  16. Seeding is based on the last two World Champs and continental games. did well during the 2019 African Games where they won five medals.
  17. All three are eligible to get a tripartite invitation. In terms of qualifying directly, Malta's best chances are in sailing (men's RS:X) and shooting (men's trap), Monaco would be in judo (men's -60kg) and table tennis (women's singles) and Montenegro has handball (women's tournament), karate (men's -67kg), tennis (women's singles) and water polo (men's tournament) as their best chances.
  18. has gotten a quota in wrestling due to doping violation reallocation. That leaves three European nations without a quota
  19. From what I gather, results will be post here. Hopefully it's done in a timely manner.
  20. Sailing qualifiers have been updated. Most nations have accepted the quota. still missing
  21. Due to no longer having a quota in equestrian, Sri Lanka has been added back on to the list
  22. RS:X - Day 4 (Olympic Standings) Men's RS:X - 14 - 29 Women's RS:X - 14 - 30 470 - Day 3 (Olympic Standings) Men's 470 - 7 - 17 Women's 470 - 6
  23. RS:X - Day 3 (Olympic Standings) Men's RS:X - 10 - 23 Women's RS:X - 11 - 25 470 - Day 2 (Olympic Standings) Men's 470 - 4 - 12 Women's 470 - 4
  24. Looks like the Asian Games results will be used. This means has qualified while = Asia 1 and = Asia 2
