    I believe it's the only Olympic event where you get a direct advantage from another Olympic event, right? If I had my way there would be a sprint that awards medals and a separate sprint that is used as qualifying for the pursuit, as impractical as that may seem.

    Apparently the rocks they use in Canadian events curl more than the rocks used in pro events, and the rocks used in pro events curl more than the rocks in WCF events. Maybe that's part of the issue.

    Looks like - as a playoff match is very likely (with being the 8th seed if the beats by two or more goals), and in that scenario the winner of that match would most likely face in the QF since they would be the top seed (unless really hammers or vice-versa).

    Jieke Kailiaosi has confirmed he is still an American citizen and has refused to comment on whether or not he is a Chinese citizen xD It's actually unclear whether any of the foreign-born players on China's hockey team are actually Chinese citizen. Every American-born player appears to still hold US passports.

    From a personality standpoint I'll take Keegan any day of the week. From a sporting standpoint? Ya that wasn't even close. ...that being said I always root for dual citizens no matter what sport they are competing in. Except soccer and hockey, sorry, can't find it in me to ever root for the USWNT after London and you just have to take a side in that women's hockey rivalry.

    Three nations winning their first Skeleton medal (and first sliding medal period in all cases) is pretty extraordinary given only six medals are handed out (and Germany won half of them :P ). Skeleton joins Alpine Skiing, freestyle skiing, short track speed skating and snowboarding as one of the few winter sport where four continents have won medals.
