    The officials line up the runners in a specific order to receive the batton. The American runner was lined up 3rd but walked up to the first position.

    3/5 relays qualified on day 1, which I think is a great day in the office. The two relays that were expected to qualify day 1 (men's 4x100m and women's 4x400m) made it, and we had a somewhat unexpected day 1 qualification from the women's 4x100m. Hoping at least one of the men's or mixed 4x400m can qualify tomorow.

    Also, Canada was 0.01s from being the second fastest team, lets not overstate how slow a time it was :P was the only country to post a fast time.
