Canoeing and Sailing have the advantage of still being Olympic sports until at least 2028, a luxury Modern Pentathlon wishes it had. I think both Canoeing and Sailing are in grave danger of having the size of their program significantly downsized but I think both sports will remain in some form long term.

I feel it was already pretty dead once the IOC unceremoniously removed it from the list of core sports. Does anyone really think LA 2028 or Brisbane 2032 organizers are going to go to bat to make Modern Pentathlon one of their additional sport? It's undeniably the Summer Olympic sport that provides the least bang for the buck for the IOC, and more than any other Summer sport (and arguably *any* sport other than the sliding sports) it's entirely dependent on the Olympics for it's survival.

Won't and be relegated anyway? There are already 16 teams set for next year without them.

Every American cable news network does clickbait and garbage opinion shows. CNN, Fox News and MSNBC also all have a serious hard news department that employs really good journalists, but you wouldn't know it from scanning their website's homepage or from listening to their network most of the day.

My favourite is obviously . Would also be pretty happy to see , or win. Or just for the sheer chaos. Obviously will win, I though their song was fine (top 10) but it's definitively not my favourite.

Hopefully they get at least one 12 from someone. Won't win but pretty good song. The performance is insane and I kind of love it.

My guess is that a lot of countries will qualify in K1 and/or C1 but will instead send X1 specialists because they have better medal chances in those events. Which will make the C1, K1 and X1 fields all weaker than they should be.

In road races they award the same finish time to anyone that is within the same group.
