  1. They fell short on the rule that lugers must compete in two World Cups in January this year or once and do twenty training runs until 18th January if they were ranked low in the previous season (2024-25).
  2. got a quota in the men's singles instead of in order to compete in the team relay. 's man and woman singles and 's men and women doubles have yet to fulfill athlete eligibility criteria.
  3. Unfortunately, the last paragraph of C. Athlete eligibility works in favor of the neutral athletes. The only question might be if all procedures to give Russians the extension were followed accordingly.
  4. Nothing changes as the quotas are for their NOCs, not for a certain ski jumper. Vagul and Kapp would potentially go the Games if Estonia decides to send them at all.
  5. The +4 part stays the same. 2nd and 1st still get their quotas. What changed is that the previously unused quota would go to maximum 3rd etc but now instead they will go to 4th etc.
  6. It's not the 45+1 rule that changed. Only the interpretation who is eligible for the reallocation of unused quota places. Until now, we had "Maximum NOC quota reached (3)" for the men's reserve list. 3rd Kazakh and 2nd Czech has been dropped from 1st and 2nd respectively in the order down to 9th and 12th now.
  7. Poland's third woman has results very close to the Slovak girls, maybe a bit better with some national bias , and the Olympic Games might serve as farewell to her career. I can't promise anything but don't lose hope.
  8. It's the continuation of the previously awarded 48 quotas. Who can reject some of them? The foremost suspect in ski jumping - one of their three, just to compete in the mixed team as only Josephine Pagnier is competitive. The next one is your neighbor - only 2 compete at the World Cup level, Karolina Indrackova got pregnant this summer and Veronika Jencova just started to train after the knee injury. In my opinion, the third country to go down from three to two ski jumpers might be - Alexandria Loutit is injured and Natalie Eilers is far from qualifying for the World Cup events. It's getting trickier now. Maybe one place down if they decide it's not worth to complete the mixed team? I doubt that either or decides not use all four spots each but I wouldn't be surprised if they did, to be honest.
  9. Well, half of this is not true. There is no minimum nation count - even less nations were expected by FIS ski jumping higher-ups than there are qualified now. The last 4 quotas for men are for NOCs with one or none athletes qualified. So we should complete 3 super teams and get China with one ski jumper in the men's individual competitions.
  10. I think they have noticed because there is no update after the competition today. Bad timing because Japan is down to three male ski jumpers and only Austria and Germany are left with four. China "got back" their sole male quota and the potential mixed team.
  11. It looks like a problem at the FIS website. The same problem occurs in their cup standings tab where the points don't add up for some reason: https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/ski-jumping/cup-standings.html?sectorcode=JP&seasoncode=2026&cupcode=COC&disciplinecode=ALL&gendercode=M&nationcode=
  12. pair Danilova/Tsiba hasn't fulfilled the national criteria to participate in the Games but their skating federation has sent a request to the national olympic committee for an exception and to include them to the TeamNL. https://www.schaatsen.nl/nieuws/knsb-dient-verzoek-in-voor-olympisch-startbewijs-danilova-tsiba/
  13. Final SOQCs are here if anyone is still waiting and checking the ISU communications page. Compared to the lists on the wikipedia and the World Cup standings, Yakubovskiy is missing 20 points from Hamar in the men's mass start. And the host quotas weren't moved up in the time rankings from the reserve lists to the last qualifying spots.
  14. Sochowicz has clearly underperformed so far this season. I hope he picks up the pace soon and we should join the team relay event.
