  1. We are still under water - can will win 40 medals, including 10 gold, before December?
  2. What do look the streets of Budapest like today? I ask because I haven't been there since 2007.
  3. Quali erano i numeri delle ragazze su Rai 1? https://www.federvolley.it/node/131994
  4. In the 1990s, things were different, although it was always private capital in our sport. Currently in volleyball in the most of leading countries is dominated by state capital: Poland, Turkey and Russia. Or we adapt and change something, or our league will continue to weaken and weaken... Certainly, what we have now won't be enough for much longer.
  5. To go somewhere in Siberia during the war there, they would have to pay him 2 or 3 times more than in ITA?, to even consider going there... That's what I think... Orro received, I think, $2.5 million for one season playing in Fenerbahce, but Istanbul is a nicer place to live than Novy Urengoy and the Turkish women's league is much stronger than the Russian one. A very strange decision, but it also shows that if we don't start paying more at home, there will be a problem for us. It`s a big boom on volleyball in ITA right now, so why companies/sponsors shouldn't seriously invest in it, if they don't want to invest in, for example, cycling teams in WT or football teams?
  6. Romano at the age of 24 in 2021, was playing in Serie A2 (the current Polish first division) and was never a top junior promese, although he played for various Italian youth NT, but nothing thought, that he would make such progress in the future. Unexpectedly, de Giorgi called him up to the senior NT in 2021 for the European Championships, just after the OG in Tokio. He was a reserve under Giulio Pinali there, but he changed the results of Italy's final match against Slovenia in the 4 and 5 sets (Italy finally won 3-2). I only have doubts about him trip to Russia to Novy Urengoy: Is this the right decision? - a weak club in a weak league with no European competition. It's a strange decision for me – something similar to Elena Pietrini's transfer to Kazan two years ago.
  8. Matteo Salvini recently did probably the first good thing in his political career – as a current minister of infrastructure he led to the construction of a bobsleigh track in Cortina on OG in 2026, when it seemed the competition would be held outside Italy: in Austria or Switzerland. He did it not so much out of love for the sport, but as a result of some political intrigue in Italy's center-right ruling coalition. But I'm trying to be objective, so he deserves praise here – although, of course, it's a rather poor record for someone who's been in politics for over 20 years
  9. Before today's match, I had two theories about how the final might be see: - 2006: Brazil-Poland 3-0, - 2022: Poland-Italy 1-3. Fortunately, come trough this first option, which the favorite won against a young team just growing for the top. And the results was similar to our first official match of the VNL season (I wrote about it yesterday): https://en.volleyballworld.com/volleyball/competitions/volleyball-nations-league/schedule/21440/
  10. Campioni del Mondo, Campioni del Mondo, Campioni del Mondo, Campioni del Mondo, Campioni de Mondo
  11. This man- Mentzen was third in the last election and decided who would win in the II round in Poland. He looks like a "Polish" Salvini to me, though even he doesn't currently have more than 10% support in Italy, becouse Meloni eat him
  12. I hope you are safe? Kiev is a dangerous places to life, becouse this is the capital and constantly under Russian attack.
  13. Nel ciclismo su pista, senza Ganna, Milan e Viviani sarà difficile conquistare almeno 1 bronzo... Vedremo quale sarà la formazione femminile: saranno Balsamo, Guazzini, Paternoster?
  14. Per ora abbiamo 9 medalie d`oro. Per me il minimo è 10, ma come ho già scritto, presto mi concentrerò di più sugli sport invernali in vista di Cortina 2026, non discipline estive.
  15. Actually vice- Prime Minister of Italy - It was 6 years ago, but if such idiots rule in our countries, I think that even money from Moscow is not needed here- or maybe he talks like that because he has been paid for years?
  16. Poland is deeply divided, primarily along the lines of large cities versus rural areas, and also along the lines of west versus east. From what I know, the east part of country doesn't exactly get along with Ukraine.
  17. Kuchma was then speak to polsih president that "but this black- Olisadebe is not entirely yours"
  18. I lived in Poland until 2000, and in that time, there was very little talk about Ukraine or Eastern Europe in general. Maybe it was because I was young (13 years old)? I personally remember Dynamo Kyiv from the late '90s- a great team, and I even had their Rebrov jersey. I only remember that the former Ukrainian president Kuchma had good relations with Polish post-communists parties and they often went to football matches together in that time.
  19. Fede suffered a terrible injury in April at the Italian Championships:
  20. It reminds me a bit of the ski route in the Dolomites from Passo San Pellegrino to Falcade.
  21. I think it was on the wave of success after Euro 2012 with Poland.
  22. Alpine skiing? Do you know Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone?
  23. Guardando le statistiche storiche, in Europa ci sono i Paesi Bassi, niente, niente, e l'Italia...
