  1. What a podium in Men's Triple Jump
  2. Gold for Levern Spencer!
  3. What a terrific women's pole vault, Alysha Newman comes up clutch!
  4. Semenya just casually smashes out a 1:56.6 in April (though it is in season for South Africa)
  5. Matt Hughes
  6. Nigeria stepped on the line, Australia had their runner in the wrong position during the changeover, and England had a hamstring injury 50m into the race
  7. Well clearly Canada has declined in Rhythmic Gymnastics, I think it's silly to have medals for all the individual disciplines, for me it's not like Artistic where there are clear specialists on some apparatus that would warrant that
  8. Regardless, the majority of the Canadians that have won medals here have been the up and comers PB'ing, such as Lovett in the HJ and Ruck in the swimming. Many of our top track (and other) athletes either didn't get into shape to prepare for this or just didn't bother entering. Schultz in the Heptathlon another up and comer looking to PB and get a medal too. Hopefully she will stay as Canadian as she has mentioned looking to switch allegiances before
  9. Weather affects everyone. Warner's loss was his own fault, that isn't unlucky. He's been around long enough, it was his mistake to not come in earlier. Qualification doesn't mean anything if you can't perform in the final, again that's not bad luck, nerves and tiredness are totally different. PNG lifter was the defending champion, it wasn't out of nowhere. The only true bad luck was Batty if she did have bike issues, because she can't control that and nobody else had to deal with it.
  10. Evripidou only bronze in the Clubs, and prevent the gold sweep for Cyprus
  11. South Africa and all the other pacific islands are in season as well
  12. It's not bad luck, the athletes just haven't been good enough on the day
  13. Cyprus looking to sweep the golds in Rhythmic Gymnastics, they are 4/4 so far.
  14. If you are up against an Australian at these games just pack up and go home... what an incredible home games they are having particularly in athletics
  15. defeats in the women's beach volleyball bronze medal match
  16. First ever commonwealth medal for and its gold for Kyron McMaster!
  17. Rhythmic Gymnastics All Around Diamanto Evripidou Katherine Uchida Kwan Dict Weng
  18. Women's Mountain Bike: Gold Silver Bronze Annie Last Evie Richards Haley Smith No medal for Emily Batty
  19. 9 of the 15 female swimmers at this meet for Canada are 18 or younger. 7 of the 15 PB'd at least once this week. The only 18 or under ones that didn't were Oleksiak, Harvey, and Hannah. The only one of the older swimmers to PB this week was Alexia Zevnik
  20. Bronze for in the womens triple jump! First ever medal for them at CWG
  21. Athletics is a primetime sport, Swimming particularly in Australia is as well, its hard to make everyone happy in that situation
  22. Disaster for Canada in the Decathlon, Warner no heighted, Stewart got injured and dropped out, and Lepage will get caught by Victor and maybe Dubler as well as his last two events are easily two of his worst
  23. Damian Warner no height in the Pole Vault... he was close to national record pace and now he's out of the medals
  24. Hamish Bond, multiple Olympic gold medalist in Rowing, gets bronze in the Road Cycling Time Trial
  25. Henry Frayne 8.34m (1.1) in LJ qualifying, Games Record and PB
