  1. And also we have the first qualified team, even if they didn’t go to semifinals: Is secure as one of the top 2 teams in the ranking no matter what. Congratulations
  2. Quota for Balasz, the other two to World Ranking
  3. Thank you. My doubt is who is going to be their synchro pair in men’s. BTW, your NOC approved the individual quota in men’s platform?
  4. Quotas are awarded to athletes, so a NOC can reject a continental or World Championships quota and give that to an athlete qualified by ranking
  5. if my quick count isn’t wrong, the automatic 6 + 3 known reallocations go nominally to GNEDTCHIK 181 pts OZYUKSEL 176 pts ABDELMAKSOUD 170 pts VENCKAUSKAITE 169 pts CLOUVEL 140 pts BAUER 133 pts FRENCH 131 pts ARCEO 126 pts JAWAID 126 pts ————— PROKOPENKO VARLEY MALIZSEWSKA VEGA PERMYKINA LANGREHR DOMINIAK NOVOTNA FREZZA
  6. Women quotas for Seong Guzi & Erdos It’s up to Hungary to choose who will be left out
  7. Once again, I went into a quick search and added some names. This time I took the Italian delegation for granted, and as such as qualified. As I noticed, not everyone can see the color scheme on it, I just like to point that names/NOCS in Italics are not oficially confirmed. As such, I once again kindly ask Ukrainian and Australian users to confirm if the divers in the list are selected by their NOCS DIVING.xlsx
  8. Livestream for Men's team qualification, using a VPN from Mexico.
  9. You want some real Mexican telenovela drama? Well, it turns out that our team qualified two competitors for the Women's final, Mariana Arceo & Tamara Vega. Either one could surprise and get a direct ticket, just like Emiliano Hernandez did last year, but also they're in direct competition for a spot via ranking, with Arceo having a decent advantage against Vega. Anyway, some time ago, Vega disclosed that she was the victim of grooming & sexual violence by his former coach Sergio Escalante (himself a former Olympian) and as a result, a criminal case was filed against him, with resulted in his exclusion at competitions by both the national federation and UIPM. However, at last year's World Championships, Escalante (who had been acting behind the scenes as Arceo's coach) found his way into the athletes lodging and is claimed that when Mexican delegation found out, they asked security to escort him out, which caused an outburst from Arceo who immediately went wild and accused Vega of orchestrating the whole thing, even going as far as to make death threats to Vega. So, of course, competition tomorrow between those two will be personal, even more because our NOC has already nominated Mayan Oliver as part of the Olympic team (a quota she gained at the PanAm Games) and thus, they are not likely to change their mind and reject the continental quota, even if both competitors could qualify via ranking.
  10. That’s the part I don’t understand either. Let’s see what World Archery decided, and also, if they will enforce that all archers obtain the MQS.
  11. Yes, every team qualified today already had an individual, so in total 8 spots are still for grabs.
  12. I’m wondering if World Archery is planning to do a shoot-out between the women losing in 1/8th individual round or will they ranked them like they do for quarterfinal losers.
  13. Quota for women, that are only ranked 22nd in the World.
  14. I did another calculation, even if they give some points in this tournament, the maximum number any of the other teams may add, is irrelevant. It seems like Colombia may lose their chance to qualify. BTW , if anyone is unable to watch the live tournament in their country, with a Mexican VPN you could follow here: https://www.youtube.com/live/2ysY_s5XuEQ?si=ugMNtXjuajXYvjEu
  15. So just to be clear McKay & the boys are competing in synchro and individual right?
  16. I did a quick check of current world rankings in women’s. if the results at the qualifier doesn’t add points, then & are almost secured a team ticket, as the next teams would need to medal at next week’s World Cup to overcome them. &. need to win that stage; &. need to be at least silver, and for a bronze would be enough.
  17. I've done a simmulation, based on the info I gathered from NOC's / National Federations, and Wikipedia to some extent. Considering the 68 cap per gender, and the likely 34 per 3m/10m categories, I've came up with this scenario. DIVING.xlsx So if users from China/Canada/Australia/Italy/Ukraine can confirm some of the expected entries, I will update that table.
  18. I was expecting 0 quotas from this event, but 2 aren’t bad.
  19. Gonzalez ruined his chance to go to Paris with this early exit
  20. From the list, I like the salad and the tapenade, pastel de choclo not so much. They forgot to put “bacalao a la vizcaina”, which is cod with olives and other vegetables, and a staple for Christmas Eve dinner in Mexico City.
  21. Although if I were you I’d abstain from “Pastel de Choclo” as its main ingredient is another of your personal “favorite” foods.
  22. He should argue that his grandpa didn’t understand the address form, then he tasked his girlfriend but she was pregnant so she only filled half of it, and when he want to finally went to do it himself, the Internet connection failed. Oh wait, he’s not from an English speaking or first world western country, so even a true and honest mistake wouldn’t exonerate him.
  23. Marcos He always got eliminated at this tournament, the exception being the 2016 Olympics, and now he can repeat.
