  1. Not enough entries. Bouzidi gets the quota through continental reallocation via 2023 world ranking, as there are three competitors from Africa in this event. Oceania's continental place now goes to should get this quota, but I suspect they will reject it, so it may end up going to
  2. Live results It seems both women quota will be reallocated due to a lack of competitors, with taking K1, as there are other 2 countries in the ranking from Africa in that event.
  3. Good chances for quota to in men’s 10m platform @Adriano And Uzbekistan also there
  4. Well, 3m women has always been the discipline where we had the weakest divers. That and the fact that Paola Pineda is not on the same level, really made it difficult from the start of the "free" rounds. I'm not even sure any of the individual women will qualify tomorrow, but let's see.
  5. For Mexico it should be Osmar for sure, but the second quota may be contested between Diego & Celaya.
  6. I'd say is still too early, she is still has some possibility.
  7. It is going to be held in la Reunion, which is part of France.
  8. On better news, I think Miller should just wait official confirmation, but she got a second spot for Canada in the individual event, with McGing now being first under the line. Also &. should get confirmation of spaces for the individual events.
  9. I’m not salty, I’m just saying that while &. received their scores more or less consistent with what they did, that overscore (which after watching it again carefully was not as big as I thought) gave Canada an advantage over their nearest rivals, which felt the pressure of doing it perfectly in that last round.
  10. Great quota great the Ukranians, the Canadians should thank the judges for saving their asses with the 4th round scores.
  11. I think so too, provided that out of the synchro pairs from , at least 6 divers “double” up, which is likely. Right now, the last athlete with a mathematical chance would be Emmanuel Vazquez, but I doubt anyone past Frandiel Gomez makes it.
  12. MEXICO Ciao Totallympics! Just before the time limit, Mexican selection committee is proud to present this year's entry to the Annual International Song Contest: After their last year debut in this competition, Mexican duet Los Rumberos return to present a collaboration with British singer-songwriter Riva Taylor, who since 2021 has been working with a combination of bossa nova, jazz and Latin American rhythms, resulting in this year's entry: Cubano - Riva Taylor & Los Rumberos
  13. I’m so happy for her, she’s been improving and I really think she’s a step ahead of others divers, except the Chinese of course, and this time she proved it. Also Jodoin di Mariah did a great competition and looks like she could grow even more.
  14. Without further guesses, and until all synchro teams are confirmed, here’s what the theoretical women quotas in platform as of today would be: 23 Qualified divers before 2024 WA Championships: 2 (synchro only) 4 (synchro + 2 individuals) 4 (synchro + 2 individuals) 3 (synchro + 1 individual) 2 individuals 2 individuals 1 individual 1 individual 1 individual 1 individual 1 individual 1 individual - - - - - - - - - - - - - 8 2024 WA Championships synchro pairs not previously qualified (in finishing order): ? - - - - - - - - - - - - - 3 (4)2024 WA Championships individual finalists not previously qualified (in finishing order): 1 individual 1 individual 1 individual 1 individual So we already have 35 divers, but given Jade Gillet seems to be doubling in the synchro events, I think these quotas can be taken for granted.
  15. I would like for Mexico to withdraw from this "hosting" pharse and get DQ from the qualifiers. It's not like they're going to progress past 2nd round.
  16. Sorry to correct, but the sentence reads “at the 21st World Aquatics Championships”
  17. She’ll need & all to qualify, and at least 5 of those divers to be picked for individual & synchro, which is quite likely.
  18. That’s another good point, they could actually allow composite teams from NOC’s with 2 divers, but so far, they seem reluctant to do so. The only thing I really would dread is if they replace the men/women synchro, with mixed events.
  19. I think it’s a little premature, as I don’t think they could have the criteria selection for each NOC, but I may be wrong.
  20. At least 11 of the synchro competitors will have to be nominated to compete also in the individuals, her chances are slim. From the divers left out in the prelims, I’d think has a good chance to be there, but only after synchro I could speculate more.
  21. Unfortunately, no, according to the qualification system; but WA could allow the host to have a competitor in each individual event if they are selected for synchro.
  22. I’ve always thought that giving the hosts and automatic quota in synchro is unfair, as more deserving teams have been left out since Rio.
  23. For women platform, we have 16 places reserved for synchro ( & ) and 15 other previous qualifiers. Out of , the top 3 in the final will have their places secured, while next four in the order (even if not all of them get in the final) are likely to also advance as the Chinese, Toulson & Schnell most surely compete in individual and synchro. For the others they will have to wait to see which countries qualify in synchro before anything else could be determined; currently last one with a mathematical chance of qualifying (according to me) is Dawson, although it seems unlikely.
