  1. This is the standard Indian political refrain since 2008. Our juniors are really good, and we have put/are putting some great systems in place, and hence we'll make it big...not by next Olympics but by the Olympics after that. After Beijing, it was that we'll make it big in Rio, after London it was that Rio is too close, we'll make it big in Tokyo, after Rio now Tokyo is too close, we'll make it big in Paris. Waiting to see when it happens...
  2. India's grand slam champions Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna have somehow got a time machine, worked some magic, and got themselves on the YOG startlist...
  3. How did Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna get on the Youth Olympic Games startlists ?? Need to borrow their time machines.
  4. No problems at all so far from the olympic channel for me - using Windows and Chrome..
  5. Does anybody have any live streaming links for YOG besides the olympic channel ??
  6. Apart from the olympic channel (which is not going to show all events), does anybody have any live steaming links ?? May be something from host argentine broadcasters ??
  7. Well Indonesia has been pretty weak in bridge so far...so bridge atleast doesnt seem to be added by them...
  8. I think part of the blame for the success in dropping boxing weights also lies with AIBA. Boxing is likely to have reduced number of categories at Tokyo in order to make room for more women's categories. AIBA is fighting it and nothing is finalized. I am not sure but it might be the only sport where the events for Tokyo 2020 are not yet finalized. Now, of course, the heaviest 3 categories won't just be dropped in Tokyo but Indonesia got to take advantage of the uncertainty as no one knows at the moment which category is an olympic event and which is not..
  9. Yes - medal assured in sepak takraw.. I watched the match - after it Indians were really celebrating which is fine but an Iranian was sobbing badly...realized later as to why..it was essentially a bronze medal match
  10. Does anybody have a link to the daily court by court schedule ??
  11. Any live streaming link for Sepak Takraw ?? Any court-by-court schedule for Tennis ??
  12. Thanks - where did you get that ?? Is there a court-by-court schedule as well ??
  13. does anybody have the tennis draw or court by court schedule ??
  14. Does anybody have a link to the Tennis court-by-court schedule ??
  15. Can you please provide the link with these images ?? Seems like they are taken from the Asian Games site but cant find them - need to know where the site will be putting up the draws...
  16. Strange discovery today on the Asian games website. For days, the site has been showing match timings off by half an hour - so a match scheduled for 10 am INA time is shown at 10.30 am !! What's worse - sometimes the time is half an hour ahead & sometimes half an hour behind BUT...if I change the time zone on the computer from Indian time zone of GMT + 5.30 to say Bangladesh time zone of GMT + 6, then the site starts showing the correct timings !! It still shows INA standard time, but at least it is correct... So the site basically can't handle a time zone of the form GMT+5.30 (India) or GMT+5.45 (Nepal) - but it can handle hourly time zones like GMT+1, GMT+2 etc...so only few countries like India, Iran, Afghanistan and Nepal face the weird issue - no issue for others.. Unfortunately, that would also mean that the issue is highly unlikely to be fixed - as faced by only few countries. So the only way for us poor Indians is to actually change the time zones on our computers in order to be able to follow with some sanity (After changing the time zone, I changed the time itself again by half an hour so my computer keeps showing the correct Indian time)...

  18. Live streaming for India-Bahrain handball is at below link - no VPN required... http://videostream.dn.ua/videopage/videoPage.php?g=dmx1ZndofGF6aHZqcmhA&c=en&i=eWlxYXJjbmd4aQ№f№f
  19. Has anybody noticed that the timings put up so far on the schedule and results page on the official site are WRONG by half an hour ?? And what's worse, it's sometimes half an hour ahead and sometimes half an hour behind. For eg, the JPN v HKG basketball match today starts at 4 pm indonesia time but is listed at 4.30 pm on the site. On the other hand, the COR v INA match starts at 6.30 pm but is listed at 6 pm !! Thankfully, wikipedia has the correct timings atleast so far
  20. Figured it out - it is a VPN issue only. Replays work from anywhere in the world - live streaming only from Indonesia. But HOLA didn't work for me. Tried it a different vpn - ZenVPN - which is working great...
  21. Hey guys...is live streaming at vidio.com working for anyone ?? I can play the replays of all the events on vidio but when playing the actual live stream, I simply get the message "Error Loading - No Playable Source found". I tried without VPN as well as with Indonesian VPN (though only HOLA) but same result both times. Is anybody else facing the same issue?? And does anybody know how to fix it ??
  22. Olympics rigged in favour of Russia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan...http://www.flowrestling.org/article/46587-how-uww-leadership-rigged-the-olympic-games any thoughts??
  23. Harikrishna took down the world championship challenger Serjey Kajarkin today !!! And he plays Magnus Carlsen tomorrow !!! The win also moves him to world no. 11 in the live rankings and into the individual silver medal position on the top board. Unfortunately, the final round pairings mean that Indian men are pretty much assured of missing the medals. Only way they have a chance is if Italy somehow takes down Russia, which would be an upset for the ages... The girls on the other hand have a great chance of medalling. They play USA tomorrow and need to win (India are seeded 5th, USA 6th). Then, depending on other results, they can end up anywhere from 2nd to 5th !!!
  24. Really fail to understand how journos are STILL given so much importance in India when its clear to all that most of them know nothing about anything and just are looking for ways to shout their lungs out and create controversy...not just in sports but in everything...
