  1. Crosby would be a better choice for the closing ceremony probably, depending on how the team does
  2. It should've been McMorris anyways, he had the best run of the day and Canada still should've gone 1-2-3
  3. Dupont has been in exceptional form these past few events, she could contend with Hasselborg, Gim, and Rui for bronze (I think Tirinzoni/Homan are a level ahead, upsets are possible), although I do agree it's hit or miss
  4. IG post from Mahler on his lack of selection https://www.instagram.com/p/DT_O_EaCGWg/?igsh=MWRpeDFpMXdsZ3lxYw==
  5. Found this country music song recently, it's not my jam usually don't last past the first watch, but this is good Crazy that it's a song made for a movie.
  6. Victor Primeau replaces Alex Duchaine, who suffered a concussion recently and will miss out on the Olympics https://www.instagram.com/p/DT_LMDakUUi/?igsh=dGIyeGV4ZzZkcjB1
  7. I'll be watching Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, and my first SYOG Asian Games there'll be qualification towards LA 2028 right?
  8. 15, lowest medal count for since Nagano 1998 Total disaster in almost every single event Kidding, but something tells me we won't have a "successful" Olympics, half of our realistic gold medal chances come in short track and we're probably gonna get penalized by the judges or crash knowing our luck
  9. It does when looking at results, but she's a lesser known athlete compared to the others The was for Rowell instead of Mahler (should've clarified it better), Rowell might have better potential for a high finish but only Mahler has a chance at the podium when he's at his best even if its unlikely That's funny
  10. Alpine skiing and ski cross teams named Lamontague and Alexander grab the last two women’s spots in alpine skiing, Rowell instead of Mahler in mens ski cross https://www.instagram.com/p/DT-tUi1DviX/?img_index=15&igsh=MXZ3NzhqdjY0b3ZmOQ==
  11. Illya Kharun is switching from Canada to the US https://www.instagram.com/p/DT-tVgrAClA/?igsh=MW5xamVyb25hZ2lhYg==
  12. Illya Kharun Is switching from to https://www.instagram.com/p/DT-tVgrAClA/?igsh=MW5xamVyb25hZ2lhYg== Big hit to Canada’s medal hopes in swimming, not completely unexpected though
  13. I'm surprised we accepted 8 women's quotas to begin with We only have 6 WC level athletes, Gray, Grenier, St Germain, Smart, Nullmeyer, Richardson and then it's a crapshoot between our NAC athletes Bennett, Lamontagne, Forget, Alexander for the 2 remaining quotas.
  14. Bronze for Megan Oldham in big air at the X Games! 90.66!
  15. Bronze for Jasmine Baird in women's knuckle huck at the X Games!
  16. I hope so But he won medals at the X Games the last couple years in slopestyle and has struggled during the WCs so who knows. The Olympics is a different beast though, we all know how good he is during it.
  17. According to her IG post she’s been dealing with an injury which makes her podiuming even more impressive! Not to mention this is her worse event of the two https://www.instagram.com/p/DT1zlCqjZ9j/?img_index=2&igsh=MWF3dGxjdm56ZXkwNQ==
