  9. Canada defeated reigning Olympic Champions Japan 6-5 at the Softball World Cup. Big win for our women.

  11. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th so far for Leathead, Carlson, and Macaulay in women's 20m high diving, with rounds 3 and 4 still left to go.
  12. McSharry realistically had no chance at the podium anyways, she did well to achieve a 5th place finish. King, Meilutyte, Jacoby, and Schoenmaker were always going to be 1-2-3-4 (In some order).
  13. Meilutyte never got banned for doping. She was, however, given a two-year ban by FINA for missing three anti-doping tests within a twelve-month period.
