    Solid time, but unfortunately will need to hit the 14:52 entry standard at Olympic Trials.

    55.31 55.52 Walsh and Huske qualify for the Olympics in the women’s 100m butterfly. Walsh will start as the marginal gold medal favourite. 55.62 for Smith as well, another PB!

    Oh I’m not saying that he won’t hit the standard 49.07 in his first race back from injury is really impressive. Just that he’s running out of time to get four meets in/the entry standard.

    Absolutely not. Road to Paris qualification ends in two weeks, and he’s only entered in one meet (on June 21) in addition to Olympic Trials (at least that I know of)

    Just re-read it. I believe he’s saying that the NBC commentators think it’ll be a tight race, while he doesn’t.

    Only person I see possibly challenging Titmus is McIntosh, but I could also see her win bronze/finish 4th. Needs to figure out how to pace this event, she’s only been 3:56 once.

    Nothing against them personally, but here’s why. 1. I’m not a fan of the fact that their host-nation quota got them a 2nd quota. Same for Placette/Richard in the women’s tournament, don’t really feel as if Viera/Chamereau deserve it. 2. At the very least, if the FIVB is going to let that happen, they should’ve had the French federation nominate a team for the host-nation quota PRIOR to this event. It just doesn’t feel right.

    ELIZABETH GLEADLE!! Before 2024, she last competed in 2022, due to a potential career ending back injury. Her women’s javelin throw SB coming into this meet was only 54.55m, BUT SHES ABSOLUTELY SMASHED IT WITH A BEST THROW OF 61.31m! Olympic standard is 64.00m.

    Tokyo 2020 My all time favourite OBS intro (love the graphics, and the music) In fact, one day, I spent 1 hour listening to the extended version on repeat. I think that tells you all you need to know

    Speakinf of nostalgic TV intros (or OBS in particular), is the 2024 Olympics OBS intro still not out? It’s already mid June, if you go off of Tokyo it’d be out early June.

    Who else for doubles? Also, those numbers are a bit skewed, given they have us sending 8 athletes in diving (5 were named to the team) I’m sure there’s other examples. The overview that I did on Team Canada club is much more accurate.
