    As an avid watcher of 3x3 basketball (mainly women’s, but I also watch men’s from time to time), like I said on the Team Canada club (too lazy to find the reply ) it isn’t that surprising, they’ve shown they can beat the top teams (and play close games against them too) Don’t see them making it into the medal rounds, but they have the potential to make it into the knockout stage and/or record a few wins.

    WE’VE DONE IT! WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM ADVANCES TO THE QUARTERFINALS! 1-0 win over Colombia in our final group stage match! What fight from the girls after all the adversity they’ve had to face. Well deserved. Up next Germany!

    That’s debatable. Some people are just happy with their placement and time, and don’t care about missing out on a medal.

    World Championships bronze medalist in a depleted field. None of the top names were present. I get the disappointment being 0.01 off a medal, I’d feel the same way if it was one of our swimmers. Nemeth performed well, head up.

    I’m not sure if I mentioned it already on the Team Canada club, if I haven’t Mel/Brandie have hit a kind of rough stretch recently in terms of play even though they’ve been reaching the quarterfinals on the Beach Pro Tour constantly. I had them as not among the favourites but in the mix for medals before the Olympics began, now…

    Dabrowski/Auger-Aliassime through to the semifinals in mixed doubles after going down 6-8 in the super TB! We’ve only won one Olympic medal (a gold in men’s doubles in 2000) in history, if we can win a medal what a result that would be
